Hi! I love to play with different ROM's, and in last MIUI 2.9.21 R1 can't launch no one apps whith GPS. Does anybody now something about that?? This ROM is pretty god and smooth but I suggest to developer: to build in FM radio, fix problem with GPS receiver and do something with launcher, because when install another MIUI themes, after applying new theme my phone not work properly (lauch bar dissapear, everything is resized etc)...

I am running the latest DeFrost ROM, which I am happy with.
But I am missing the FM-Radio APP from HTC, which comes in other ROM'S (with Sense).
Is it possible to install this App on DeFrost ROM, as you know?

running REDUX 1.2 and cm7 hboot!

i was wondering if it´s possible to install a theme in REDUX, that was originally created for another rom (cm7 or oxygen for example)?
and i was also wondering about the lockscreen in REDUX!
is it an app that´s included?
i guess there should be no problems, installing another lockscreen (widget locker for example), or can/ should i uninstall the lockscreen that comes with the rom, first?
I love my MIUI, been using bulletproof quite some time now. I just found, and flashed Galnet MIUI whit ICS framework. It has same miui UI, and basically nothing visible has changed.

What does it exactly mean that rom has framework from ics and rest old stuff? whats the new stuff in this kind of rom(what the framework does?)?
I have tried some of the Rom`s here available for my Xperia ARC (LT15), and the best is JJHybrid Rom.
I have DoomKernel (1,6GHz version) , JJHybrid Rom and the latest GAPS. Everithing runs very smooth, batery drain is very low, the best ROM/Kernel ever. The only problem i have for now (i`m testing it for 3 day now) is the lack of theme manger apk, so i cannot change the theme. I have tried using CM7 and CM9 theme manager apk`s from other Rom`s but no succes. Does anyone has any ideea on hou to get theme manager working on this release?
P.S. : I`m new to this site and i do not have the 10 necesary post, necesary to be able to reply directly on the ROM thread. So please excuse me if if this question is missplaced.
P.S. : I have also searched the forum and have not found anything related to this problem.
Trebuchet Launcher does not support themes. This is why you don't have a theme chooser. If you want themes, get a Launcher that supports themes (ADW, for exmaple, or MIUI Home)

Hi everyone, I'm new to CM9, and after successfully got CM9 up and running I have noticed that when I access the themes and lockscreen option in the interface section of settings, it just just says "Preference Stub Temporary placeholder until functionality merged". How do I gain functionality to this?

which CM9 version you tried?
it seems u flashed old cm9 ROM
New CM9 has all functions like Launcher, lock screen & themes working well
I suggest u to try jellybean CM10 or AOKP jellybean
Its very very stable and smooth and fast with almost everything working including Themes, Launcher & lockscreen and GOOGLE NOW
