that would be interesting if i like the phone , i would have to go into sprint tomorrow and see how it feels in my hands, if it's to big than ill stay with my s3,

Has anybody seen the branding on the Verizon version? They actually put the Verizon logo on the home button and the logos on the back are huge. If sprint does this I won't get it, Verizon managed to make a great looking phone into crap. I really don't mind the back, but really on the home button?

Haven't seen it yet, I'll get it if there isn't any. Love that sprint is doing so well now, first to get jellybean and start rolling out 4G faster. Happy I stayed
I am in December. That's when I'm paying my ETF and switching to either ATT on contract(I actually might buy the phone outright from them) or t-mobile prepaid, where I'd still have to buy it outright. I'm just fed up with Sprint.

sprint's been doing good with 4g rollout and 3g speeds in san antonio, so i may pick it up. 5.5" is huge though!! (that's not what she said)
Bigger screen with the same resolution as the S3, pass.
Bigger screen is nice in bed watching youtube and movies, but you could have a tablet instead, and keep a phone for calling and stuff.
Phone has nice specs but with S3 and a 7" tablet w/pen functions I don't need it. I can see how a device like this could really catch on in the business community though. Wish I could put it in the hands of all my field techs but the cost of data plans is still too high.
I want to see what the lower dpi screens about. Also probably won't get cm10 for note 2 and even if we do probably won't get the s-pen working. I might pass and keep the s3.

Nahh.. seems to big for me. I mean the S3 is already bug enough and they're essentially the same phone
Just made the switch to a new s3 and loving it. Wanted to say hi and thanks in advance(will be hitting the button often)to the dev community here.
Started reading s3 forums about 2 weeks before I got my device and am amazed at all the stuff going on in this forum. The sgs4g was a great phone and i plan on playing around with it still, but only a small development group there.
So far: rooted, twrp, darthstalkerx, motomoto theme. Smooth, sexy and no issues at all.
Looking forward to a host of new flashing fun! Keep it up!

Well it's not like the s4 will be really cheap like the s3 is going right about now. As far as I'm concerned people still rock the s2 and never bought the s3,same with the note. I know you just "messing", but still to op welcome to the community

With how popular this phone is I bet this has plenty of life in it. I am not concerned with S IV. And yeah you maybe disappointed with the price drop off the S3 when the s4 hits but oh well

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the s3 got released like a month here in the states on most U.S. Carriers after the international release . I know with the s2 the U.S. market got it pretty late. But if that's the case the state release shouldn't be that far from us when the s4 drops.

Hmmm, I would have used Swappa, but I don't think it's for Canadians, unfortunately.
Also, I've owned the GN4 before, it's a beast, I just prefer white color, and the bigger screen.

I wish I could justify getting the S4 after only having the S3 for 6 months, but the only reason I would want it is to test if BT AVRCP works better with it and my car than with the S3 (which already works pretty well).

We might get a full s4 rom ported by this summer so for me the upgrade is just not worth it at all.. the only difference will be better camera and screen but that's about it

Even then, that camera scratches easily. People are scratching it already. It won't be so great when its all scratched up. I've not scratched my S3 and it was caseless for two weeks! Stupid oversight on Samsung's part!

I gotta say I'm not jealous...I'm content with my S3
Though it's a pretty good gesture, the devs really do a good job here!
I'm quite happy with the S3, the only phone I see worth upgrading to is either the Note III or the next nexus phone (only if it isn't made by LG and the back isnt made of glass). But I wouldn't switch to either devices the second they come out, I would wait a month or two and see what ROMs and type of community both devices have and pick the one that suits me better.
Oh and bikrame I hope you enjoy your S4, seems like there's a few people here that envy you.

Att is locked, Verizon undoubtedly will be locked, Sprint and T-Mo are unlocked. No word on regional carriers yet.

ATT bootloader is unlocked but djrbliss is holding the exploit to himself until Big Red drops their S4. Hopefully that same exploit will unlock theirs as well. Should be by the end of this month.

I'm still on the fence.
Assuming the Note 3 will have Sprint's Triband LTE on it, it's definitely on my radar along with the LG G2.
With the LG G2 having a 5.2 inch screen, it's more enticing to me than a humongous 5.7 inch screen of the Note 3.
Also, with TouchWiz on the Note 3, I'm leaning towards the G2.
However, the Note 3 is also more likely to get official CM support, just based on the Note 2's official status and the LG Optimus G not being official.
With official CM support, we get better AOSP kernels, so AOKP, SlimROMs, PA, and PAC-Man roms will be better.
My upgrade is in December, though. It gives me some time to think about it and hopefully see some reviews and other user impressions before choosing one over the other. And hopefully CM will announce official support for the G2, then it makes my life easier.

I was considering it. That creamy pink looks kind of neat lol. Nah I'll probably get a black one. Unless they've figured out how to not let the light bleed on the white version.
I may get a pink flip cover though. Awwww yeaaa!
As much as I'd love to keep SVDO, I don't think qualcomm will enable dual radios in their chipset anymore. :'(

Well I mean, there's SVLTE now...but Sprint is nowhere near being able to force their customers to all rely on good LTE coverage
But I doubt that the N3 will have SVDO, probably get bumped up to SVLTE
I'm tempted. Still debating whether to get a Note 3 or wait for the S5. I told myself that I'd never get a phone that big but everyone I know who has a Note 2 loves it.
Didn't like the faux leather back at first but it's starting to grow on me after watching a few hands-on videos. I still need to see and feel it in person though.

Definitely not me. Lol. I like my phone 5" and under..4.8 is nice, though I could hold a note easily.
Also having my nexus, I do like the nav buttons better akin to a nexus device. I know you can on custom ROMs, but nav and hardware buttons are just silly to me.
