[IDEA ROM] New THEME, transparent TOPBAR and new camera!!

my ROM is:
[11 Oct 11] [CMR] Runnymede Sense 3.5 android 2.3.5 v1.3 OC daemon & hierOS kernel
and i make this graphical modding.. and flash a new camera.

IMPORTANT: WHEN YOU BOOT IN Clockwork RECOVERY mode..
1 step: go to "mount and storage"
2 step: mount data and mount System
3 step: go to "install zip from sdcard"
4 step: flash zip
5 step reboot
Can samebody make a ROM with this MOD.???

what the hell !!!

REAL.. i try to flash more themes from desire hd and transparent topbar in my hd2 bliss
and it work and my hd2 is beatyfull!!!

well for one you would need the themers permission to include thier theme
in the rom
and it would be nice to actually ask the TBD team and the rcmix team for thier
permission to use there rom and base

if you wouldve bothered to read thru that roms thread you wouldve
seen and found the transparent stuff
but not that theme as we dont have permission to use it

i also would like to have this theme on my hd2. Let's go and ask for permission!!!!

TRY topbar transparent and camera... work very well

just sent a pm asking for permission to use that theme on the TBD Rom

then someone will have to ask for permission. Gioielino Do you want to ask the themebuilder for permission as the thread opener?
Btw I don't like much the transparent top bar, but the theme would be nice.

I tried installing the cam twice and when I look at it it looks exactly the same. Also when I looked at the youtube videos the camera is totally different. Installed using cwm, I am using daekins rom

PS: need feedback if it works on other version

Very nice V2. Updated Sense 3.5 to Cracker but couldn't open the locked screen. Had to restore back. May be Cracker is Sense 2.1 and incompatible with update 2-24 (Sense 3.5). If you could make battery icon number bolder to see the better, green dot squares has to be smaller for sure to fit. Nevertheless, thanks for your effort to make this great.

Can we have a tutorial on how you did all this.

It's not so hard, i change colors, icon etc... with uot kitchen, and after i change some .png in "systemUI.apk" and "framework-res.apk" with winrar.

Hi, i installed it on this same rom and now my status bar is gone . Is there a fix for this? i really like this theme. I also installed it on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1504213 same problem there

Sorry, i don't know why it didn't work !
Did you apply the good Theme for SENSE 3.5 ?
I tried it only with the Odex V5 rom from m1ndh4x8r.
I made a zip with original files from the m1ndh4x8r's ROM sense 3.5 ODEX V5
I didn't try but it could work for come back to original theme.

EQS is include in m1ndh4x8r's ROM, i just uploaded files : SystemUI.apk, framework-res.apk and com.htc.ressources.apk from rom or phone, to uot kitchen.
And after i changed some png inside this files to complete the theme.
PS :You can try files from EQS "update 6" by efi2009 .

maybe you have to remove animations because phone freezes when receiving call in 3.5. so I had to reinstall rom also maybe it needs new files cause Im in V5.

I'm on v5 and i have some freezes only at first startup during 2 or 3 minutes.

Hi Rahul2929,
I don't know if it works with 2.26.720.1 ROM, but I think it should.
WARNING : Just before trying you have to do a nandroid backup with clockworkmod recovery or ROM managers ( backup current ROM ).
To install the theme choose "install zip from SD card" in ROM manager or into CWM Recovery.
Could you tell me if it worked ?

[mod] Sense 5 look Lockscreen for Stock Skins

Based on my work for One V : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39555206&postcount=2478 and Desire X : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39555359&postcount=110
Here I'm sharing my version (my interpretation) of a simple Sense 5 look Lockscreen that should work and tested on the stock skins (ROM base 3.18.401.1)
- Default, Aluminum, Matte, Steel, Graphic and Concrete.
Features:
1) slide down the shortcut icons to activate the app
2) slide down to accept or reject call ( as usual pull the lock icon up to answer call when at lockscreen)
3) pull (slide up) to unlock the lockscreen)
Download : Sense_5_Lockscreen.zip (updated)
Usual routine applies - make a nandroid backup before flashing mods

After you flashed the mod, how is your lockscreen looks like ? Can you post a screenshot ? Doesn't it look like the first screenshot above where you have the shortcut icons, time and date at lower part of the screen ?

Normal Lockscreen mode.. My device not changed. I flashed the zip file recovery..
My device rom Venom Viper 3.4.2..

I see ... sorry to say this mod is not for Viper ROM.. you need to use special mods made for Viper ROM for it to work.

Didn't work for me I'm afraid on ARHD 19.2 with lyapota's mod, on stock kernel. I also have beauteous skin installed so it may conflict with that. I tried it with the normal htc skins but with same result, shame but thanks anyway, see screenshot for reference.

Guess I need to test each ROM that available in One X - start downloading with OrDroid first and then other ROMs, will post result on OP.

IdleScreen_Base.apk is same for all stock rom ie 3.18 except for custom ROM like viper where it has few extra modifications. only reason why it will not work is if you have 2 Idlescreen_base.apk in system/app
look for Idlescreen_base.apk and IdleScreen_base.apk delete both then push again.
in eddyedwards007's case default beauteous skin does not have padlock icon for ring. so you will have to install modified skin or modified fusion.apk.

Screenshot from viperx 3.4.2 just delete both islescreen_base.apk from system/app and flash the mod, it works
and for the OP, could you make a version of fusion.apk with app drawer icon like sense 5? As it changed to stock sense 4
And after installing it my sense navbar changed to the one from sense4, but I had the sense 5 one before and I can't change it back, I tried reflashing sense 5 mod, but it didn't help

It works, just check your Fusion.apk and IdleScreen_Base.apk and change the capital letters in the zip before flashing..

Thanks for the tip.. I downloaded OrDroid and ARHD and both have different name style for the Idlescreen_Base.apk & fusion.apk (ARHD) and IdleScreen.apk & Fusion.apk (OrDroid)... so I guess other ROMs may have different style of naming these files.
So what I did, the updater-script is updated to delete the old files and replace with the new modded files. Tested on both OrDroid and ARHD... it works without a need to manually delete the original files.
The updated files uploaded on OP.. same link.
