Hi there, I have a HTC Desire GSM, Currently running elk CM10, 4EXT Recovery, Stock HBoot, The problem is with every Sense rom that I have tried it freezes and locks up after a matter of minutes , Then it wont let me boot , This is the same for all sense Roms on XDA, Every AOSP rom works fine. I know it sounds strange but ive only had these freezing issues since I changed my Sim Card to GiffGaff. Any Help would be greatly appreciated as I love the Sense UI and would love to use it.
Never mind it was the sd card causing the issues.

Is there any way to boost the battery performance of htc desire, it just last only for 6 hrs, pls some one say any best way for it.

What rom are you using? Aosp roms have the best battery lives. Try the one I'm using. It lasts 2 days at normal use, and it's as smooth as an s3.

I have tried the last 2 versions of Marange and MIUI freezes (2.10.19 and 2.9.29).
Only version 2.9.21 works, but slow. Any idea?
Desire wifi issue
I have a HTC Desire running "MARANGE HTC DESIRE MIUI V4 2.10.26 Beta".
WLAN starts, sees wireless networks, but never obtains IP and connects.
I have tried other Roms and I have the same issue. More, on some Roms wlan doesn't start.
I have no clue...
please help!

Full wipe except SD card. Let me know what exact steps you followed. I really doubt you are following the instructions provided.

First of all, thank you for your patience.
I do the following:
1. wipe all but sd-card;
2. format all but sd-card;
3. fix permissions;
4. sometimes I format sd-card using the following settings;
a. ext4
b. sd-ext 1 Gb
c. swap 1 Gb
d. sdcard 12 Gb
5. file system check
6. choose zip
7. install
Here is the point where, after analyzing the package, the phone displays “Status 7” error and aborts installation.

First of i rooted my desire and installed froyo by oxygen.
Then i wanted to unroot it.
Thing is that htc sync couldn`t find the phone, as it didn`t have the option to htc sync in the rom.
So I installed another rom (r3.1-bravo-desire-modacocustomrom-withadditions-signed), but i guess I did something wrong, because when i reboot the phone it just reboots and reboots.
Thanks for any help, and please excuse my bad english.
Stupid is what stupid does -_-
u shud check on modaco instead its their ROM!!
Nah, you should just do a full wipe.

v5 is busted. Beyond having to reboot once before you're able to access it via RM, it's trashed a few systems (mine included), won't let some power off (they reboot instead), etc.
I'd suggest rolling back to the last stable version until the bugs get worked out.

Rooted my desire yesterday S-offed and everything was working fine. I attempted to flash a custom Rom and now all I recieve in the HTC screen. I have tryed installing several roms and nothing works. I can get into the recovery with no issues. Just I cannot get into any roms. Any Magix fixes I can try? Or should I just Fastboot and start over?
Edit. Fastboot doesnt work. But I can get into the CWM Recovery. Which is also the newest version.
And you always followed installation guides for all roms carefully (like sd card) and flashed version that corresponds with your hboot?

Yup Followed everything. I have done this all on my incredible 100 times. So I am aware of the steps to get Roms going.
Wiped all user data?
I just had this briefly with a Desire PVT4, had forgotten to wipe all user data prior to flashnig ROM's...?

Fastboot just has the bootloader option. Nothing for going back to stock. And were on the Stock HBOOT.
Correction Fastboot works just I cannot use it to go to stock. Is there any quick way to get to the stock image?

I didnt know that! I shall give it a try and update on here and thank you if it works. What is Alpha Rev? A Devoloper or something?
You basically they specialize in s off, and recovery images etc. What sort of ROMs are you using? Cm7r2 is best for most Roms on the desire atm

A whole 7 minutes to go from trying it to won't bother?
Very simple, just follow the steps in post and ready, now more than has the graphical installer. : P
I don't know, I'll backup my CM ROM then try it.
1 question though, how long will it take to do this?

Also find out that there is no way to install a working recovery but only CWM-based Recovery v5.0.2.6 through a recovery script..
So i've unziped the script..
The only difference is that before flash it uses :
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

make sure you at getting the one for marvel and not marvelc if your phone has a sim card. may be the issue may not but worth checking. or if your phone doesn't have a sim card you need marvelc.

After a long day i've managed to install CWM recovery v5.0.2.8
After that rooted the phone using root.zip from xda.cn script and cwm!
Installed rom manager from market
And finally followed the guide
Black screen recovery guide
I've managed to install the rom at the guide and working properly!!!
BUT i still get black screen on recovery as usual!
The next step is to try install speedDroid!!!
