Hi, I unlocked the phone visa HTCDev, and flashed 4EXT recovery (through fastboot) and tried to flash CM7 (after full wipe). The phone now gets stuck at the white screen with HTC logo. I also tried to flash Android Revolution HD, the phone remains stuck at the white screen.
I can access HBOOT, BOOTLOADER, and RECOVERY.
Below is the excerpt from HBOOT:

HTCDev is not a good option. Always use AAHK to root and S-OFF. Sashank has given some pretty good insight into this topic and ways to amend your mistake. Look at this post : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31211732&postcount=396
Hope it helps.

Have you flashed the boot.img after the flash in the recovery? find the information on how to do it in the guide in my signature. :good:

Hello,
I had my DHD rooted. When I reboot into bootloader, this is what I get up on the screen:
ACE PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-0.85.0024
MICROP-0438
RADIO-26.10.04.03_M
eMMC-boot

Does this mean that the Radio is not S-OFF.
I recently flashed a new ROM and wanted to flash a new radio too. But the process of flashing the new radio failed. Help required because I do want to flash a new radio.

Yes you are S-OFF
But radio can't be flashed trough recovery. If you want to flash a new radio then you need to do it trough bootloader, I got to go now but someone could post a link or I do it later

Found the Solution for this one
Hi, guys. Thanks for replying to my question.
I found the solution to this:
Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to post the link here. But if you search for "How to gain ENG S-OFF" you will get the download files and instructions to do that.
I learned that though my phone was rooted and S-OFF, it was not ENG S-OFF. So I had to attain that first. When I got my phone ENG S-OFF, I could flash a new radio.
Now when I boot into bootloader, I get this on my phone's screen:
ACE PVT ENG S-OFF
HBOOT-0.85.2007
MICROP-0438
RADIO-26.14.04.28_M
eMMC-boot

I hope this solution helps other new users like me.
I'm just going to but my little head in and say eng soff is NOT required to flash a radio. If your device came with gb and you install the eng boot via older methods(not aahk) you will mess up your phone.
For those that do want eng soff capabilities(using fast boot command) use the ace hack kit to install the modified hboot.

Hi all,
I got stuck every time I try to install a custom rom. (stuck on load/splash screen)
I always perform a full wipe, clear cache and dalvik.
I'm using Paranoid Android with 4.1.1, before this I used Paranoid Android with 4.0.4.
Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong or how to fix?
Regards,
Tristan

That is wrong. S-OFF will allow to flash anything at all, including Recoveries, radios and not signed firmwares. But unlocking the bootloader will allow you to flash a custom recovery and therefore a custom rom.

Have you flash the boot.img included in the rom zip file? you have to flash it from fastboot. Check the guide in my signature and you will get all the information you need.

So, when I have S-OFF I can flash roms without fastboot?
yes, definitely
So, when I have S-OFF I can flash roms without fastboot?[/QUOTE]
Yes, I did my S-off using advanced ace hack kit. Then later installed 4ext recovery instead of clock work mod.
Still you can use AAHK to make s-on and flash an RUU if ever needed
Hello,
Thank you in advance for helping.
I can not install a custom ROM.
I started with a stock DHD unroot without bootloader and S-ON.
--> The bootloader has been unlocked via HTCDev
--> I installed via 'WinDroid HTC Universal Toolkit', TWRP recovery and SuperSU for root.
Despite the installation via the Recovery, the HTC logo stays on the white background and nothing happens, I've left the phone for 15 minutes as well.

Stock: run a RUU.
Restore custom ROM: re-unlock and fastboot flash the ROM zip's boot.img.

Google for the website shipped-roms.com and then enter its android section, then buzz. Download a RUU that's either local to you or speaks your language.
Run it. The phone should flash the stock ROM, and radio. Only thing left is the hboot.
In order to stop htc overwriting our hacked hboots the alpha rev team set a higher hboot number. So you need to google for the fast boot command to return the htc wildfire hboot to s-on.
Then your good to go.
