I have a resized widget that works okay, ( seen in the attached image) but it isn't resized to be any smaller. I also wish the PadFone widgets were able to work on the GNex. Anybody get those to work?

someone have to play a bit with the apk and resizing it for fit our display.i can try tomorrow but i cannot guarantee nothing!we will see
Those appear to be very simple widgets. They can be easily recreated using UCCW widgets.

I use static to do this with my home screen...

I wish I used lwp. But I can't find any good ones. Only ones I like are phase beam and nexus but phase beam annoys me because it doesn't scroll and nexus o wish I could change the background. Other lwp just always make my icons and clock and stuff hard to see or the wallpaper colors don't match my phone enough or something.

How did u make this wallpaper? Or where did you get it from? Really like it
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
I find my wallpaper stunning !
If you don't mind the background being a battery killer, I use Electricsheep. It's really trippy and all my friends comment on it the first time they see it.
I use static. I don't get enough benefit out of the live to justify the battery drain.

Go with static. The battery needs all the help it can get!

This theme was originally created by colourfulvisual, but this guy edited it and I quite like it

I bought nexus revamped pro from the play store and you can put other backgrounds and customize it to your hearts content. I like it especially as you can set it to just show a wallpaper after your battery reaches a percentage of your choosing - battery wise I still get 15-16 hours with around 3 plus hrs of screen time.

Any recommendations for a good clock widget? Something preferably with clock shadow for light backgrounds

I personally use "beautiful widgets" it does cost money but there is a reason it has sold over 1million copies.
Simiclock or HD widgets are also good but beautiful widgets is my favorite.

I've always enjoyed these from Bernie66. He does great work and these work very well with the SGSIII.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1225230 If you like them, be sure to thank him!
I have been using "One More Clock Free" from the google play store. It has a bunch to choose from and it will download additional clocks if you let it.
Found exactly what I wanted with digi clock widget on play store very customizable

Ultimate Custom Clock Widget
It doesn't get any better than that. It's not just a clock widget. It really is one of the best apps I have ever used.
I've got mine using the 2 best and customized ones I've found (IMHO) : Minimalist Text (bottom part) and
AdvancedClock Pro (top) - overlapped them in Adw.

Beautiful Widgets and HD Widgets.
I was using HD Widgets for a few months then I started playing with Beautiful widgets and download skins and I think it's a bit better now, I love it.
Typoclock was made by a board member. Seen here on top. Apk can be found by searching xda

Android Weather
Beweather actually can use beutifull widgets skins as well as its own, it's a toss up between those 2 for me, both have free versions.

Everyone check out BobClockD3. It's a very modern looking digital clock with custom color options. My favorite and only clock widget I use.
I've been looking an email widget matching the overall theme of my home screen, without any luck. Anyone know of a dark widget to use with gmail?
Here is my home screen so you know what I'm talking about

Is it possible to get the original grass live wallpaper on the gnex? Maybe just in apk form. This was always awesome.
I did find something for a gallery file or something but it didn't work. The one on the play store is glitchy too.

Does anyone have or is able to make the Motorola Droid Ultra Clock. Looks amazing with the extra chrome look around the clock itself. I've attached a pic.

Rings Digital Weather Clock in the market looks identical to that.

You could install the RAZR M launcher. Google for the zip file. You'll have to install all apks in the zip (including the launcher) for it to work

The one in the play store is not the same.
Also I would like this aswell , without root.

You don't need root to install a launcher apk or widget apk..
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
There's a zip in the RAZR forums with the launcher or full package I think that comes with its original clock like that..

It needs modified to work.
And yes I'm vary aware I can install apks etc wo/root.

I think it's this one.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31816337
You'll need the launcher there as well for it to work. If not, keep looking for yourself..
