4.1.2 jb - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Anyone tries it out stock and noticed any differences?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium

4.1.2 has just been pushed to AOSP for the Nexus 7. As far as we know right now the only changes are for the N7.

building with JRO03R binaries atm.

Not to be negative Nancy or anything but from what I've read around the web. This new android os isn't a new build but more less a update to Jelly bean.

MMuzzy has a toro build up.

minor update

[Q] Full ICS

Hey guy's will we ever see an full working ICS rom???
I really like the wonder but it's to sad if we never get an full working ICS rom on it....
BY the way
Sorry for my bad Eng
Of course it is just a matter of time...

I think that especially ICS isn't as stable as 2.3.6 or even 2.3.7 on other devices so there are even bugs in the ICS stock ROMs - more difficult to create a custom ROM based on this
Full ICS......Yes It Will Be Possible !

Always remember arco68 is the only developer in the world developing CM9 ICS n now he has now started to help the S+ CM9 Team to port the same as both the SGW n S+ has similar specs +/-
Everything will be working soon.....arco68 is mirroring his development for us...

Nope, ICS in the carrier versions (the bloatware that Samsung & friends add to their phones) is just like GB.
It's the CM9 that arco68 provided that is clean, because it comes directly from the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).

Right, I think thats exactly a big advantage of custom roms linke arco68's. Even when you install a rom that comes with bloatware and root it you'll have fragments left. I wonder how 'clean' arco68s ICS will be - in some custom roms i missed apps which where elemental for me anyway, it's going to be a great work when its finished
Waiting
Still waiting for a working camera on ICS. btw, arco68 is awesome
Is there anything we can do to speed up the development?
Figure the driver of the camera as it has to be re-written if you want the tech prints be glad to share...
He is teaming up with S+ to get the camera working on CM9 as this phone has similar specs...He has mirrored his development...

General Info:
More information about Firefox OS (B2G) is available here and here. So... I saw this and couldn't resist having a little sneaky play around with it. This is NOT a daily driver. This is NOT stable. It's pre-alpha. If you want something to use as a phone, this isn't it. If you just want to use your phone as a phone, you need android rom.
With that aside, and with the clear understanding that while this won't brick your phone, it's nothing to do with me if it did for some reason, or likewise if your cat (or other cute pet) suffers a painful death as a result of flashing this. At your own risk, like everything else here on XDA-Developers!
So without further ado, WTF is this? Well, it's a project from Mozilla (the lovely people behind the Firefox browser). I won't go into details, suffice to say I suggest you read a lot over at their wiki - start off at https://wiki.mozilla.org/B2G and work your way through the pages.
These builds can only be installed with CWM!!!

Neat, going to test it out
One massive bug I noticed is that the ROM has no buttons, which makes doing anything difficult, since you can't go back or home
Just to let people know, this will wipe your sdcard folder so take your backup out! ^^
Neato! Can someone post a video of it running on the Gnex?
I will try to fix bugs and will make a new build every weak. Second build will be avaliable as cwm archive without wiping sdcard)

This is great work though, you guys here on xda are incredible. This is EXACTLY why i got a Nexus.
So anyone create a way to have onscreen buttons yet?
I know theres a lot fo you super talented guys out there
I would like to see a video too, as i'm very curious, but I´m fine with my actual rom
Actually theres a few youtube videos of what it looks like. Not great videos but at least an idea of what it is. Honestly it doesnt look super different from Android. At least as far as the interface goes.
flashed it, testet, wanted to revert ... now my sdcard is formated, alle data gone...

[APP][addon.d] Cell Broadcast Receiver

This zip will install the CellBroadcastReceiver.apk found on the stock Nexus 4 ROM as a system app. After flashing zip, settings can be found in Settings, More..., Cell broadcasts. This zip also includes an addon.d script.

What is addon.d?
On some ROMs, like Cyanogenmod, there are scripts in /system/addon.d that run during a ROM update or flash. They can backup and restore system apps (like Gapps), or perform many other functions. This zip includes an addon.d script, so the app is not lost during a ROM update! If your ROM doesn't support addon.d, this zip should still flash properly, but you won't benefit from addon.d.
Tested and Confirmed to work on:
CyanogenMod 10.1
AOKP (thanks dekips!)
Install Instructions:
- Boot into recovery
- Flash Install zip
- Reboot
Downloads:
Install-CellBroadcastReceiver-1.1.zip

Code:
1.1 - 2/24/13
- Updated apk, pulled from 4.2.2 (JDQ39)

Very stable ROM. I haven't come across any issues other than the screen not adjusting properly when switching to Extended Desktop.
Multi-Touch issues still persist. I haven't confirmed this yet, but it seems I'm not getting Hangouts notifications. I will confirm this later.
