Hi, I have tried the following cases. I find them to be either too bulky/ slippery/ no grips to it.
Spigen - Neo Hybrid
Seidio - Seidio Active
Ballistic - Ballistic Shell Gel
Casemate - Case Mate Pop Case
Can you guys please recommend me something else thanks.
PS: I don't fancy otterbox as its too bulky.

the armor case look awesome !! Thanks.
I have the seidio surface case...and I jus dropped it today from waste level on a concrete surface and let me tell you I was scared to look at my screen when I turned it over...cause the drop sounded nasty...I cursed in front of my 7 year old daughter...but to my astonishment the phone was fully intact and not a single mark on the phone...case took quite a beating though...
IMO...this is the best case and by far not as bulky as its bigger sibling the Active Case...so if you want little to no bulk and still offering great protection...I will stand by the Seidio Surface Case all the way...

Yes, I agree with this.
I have been using this for long time. Absolutely no complains. Class quality, great price and protects very well. The fit is awesome and it not at all bulky

Good thing is it comes in various color to suit everyone's taste.
I am using this case : http://www.amazon.com/CrazyOnDigital-GUARDIAN-Samsung-T-Mobile-Verizon/dp/B005ZG04Q4/
I highly recommend the Cruzerlite Clone Army for an inexpensive, slim, good looking, and grippy case.

Hey guys,
For the past couple of months I've been posting reviews of Galaxy S II cases for the International model on my YouTube Channel, just today I picked up the T-Mobile version so I'd like to continue my reviews for this device.
I'm having a hard time finding branded cases for the device (I usually contact SGP, Otterbox, BodyGuardz, etc) - I'd love to bring more reviews to you guys so if you could link me to some sites for branded cases I'd be grateful!
Thanks in advance,
Ploone
Out of curiosity, what's your youtube channel username? I'd like to get some reviews from the different companies.

D30 case here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1305116
I'll be doing a review myself, but not a video review so you could do that still
Hopefully we wil start seeing more branded cases soon. I pit the T-Mobile Body Glove on the wife's phone (really she claimed it) and now I need a decent case. I may pick up a D30 to hold moe over until something like Otterbox or Trident cases comes out.
It was rough figuring out that very few of the "Galaxy S II" cases on Amazon don't work. They should have just called it the Hercules and been done with it...
I have the tmobile bodyglove case and really like it.....
Just picked up the T-Mobile D30 case. I love how simple and slim it is and the protection D30 adds to the case. If you want a good not cheesy(ugly and full of designs) black case, go for this one.

26.70$ after taxes (Cheaper than BodyGlove) bought in a TMO store

Just picked up a D30 case on my way to night class. Had to call 5-6 stores before I found one that carried D30 cases.
Fits beautifully. Doesn't mess up the t-mo screen protector when on the phone. Nice feel to it, kind of like the Ringke cases. Buttons are kind of stiff, but I'm sure it will need to be broken in. Much easier to push the buttons then the tpu hybrid case I got on eBay.
In-store cost is $24.99. Well worth it IMO. Very nice quality as you can see from the previous pictures posted.

Does anyone know which case is bettter? The Body Glove or the D30?
Is the D30 plastic or rubbery texture?
+1 for the D30 case. It has a nice rubbery feel with good grip and excellent protection.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
I went to the Tmobile store today and tried on the D30, the case it not as stylish as the Body Glove White and Gray one. In terms of fitting, Body Glove fits better. I know is a bit more pricey, but Body Glove is better from my eyes.
Hey as the titles says I'm looking to buy some dope cases it doesn't have to be really protective just a sick design. So what do you guys have or know of? Thanks!!

I looked more closely at it and it looks more like an image of a controller or gameboy (depending on which of theirs you look at) just made into the case instead of the case really being based around the controller itself. That's disappointing lol since the iPhone has really nice cassette/Nintendo/gameboy cases that are realistic looking and of high quality... here's to hoping we can find some for our GNexus's! Otterbox Top Quality
I've owned three Commuter cases (for Samsung Captivate, Infuse, and Note) and you can't beat them for the protection.
The only issues I have had are how the clips are attached to the plate. Twice I've had them break on me, BUT, Otterbox has been very prompt at sending me a FREE replacement. I also have to say that each time I was leaning in such a way that I was putting pressure on the belt clip, so I can't entirely fault the clip. Since they replaced it (promptly), I have no negative feelings.
Although they are a bit pricey, you can definitely see why they do cost more. I would HIGHLY recommend them. They give your phone top-notch protection. :good:
I bought the case today and compared to the case mate tough this provides much more protection however it does the phone slippery due to the hardcover having minimal grip. The biggest gripe I have with this case is the power and volume rockers are really difficult to press and I have contacted otterbox about it and just awaiting reply now.

great review, I have been searching for a gal s3 specific otterbox review and haven't found any... until now.
That is an issue re the lovely sleek lithe lines of the s3 being covered and ruined by protection, but as has been said, thats the trade off i guess.
I am having a really hard time deciding between a few cases. Bought the invisible skin full body protector (it's my goto scratch protection despite niggles with it) and that will sit beneath any case I buy. May have to take the rear skin off to fit but will cross that bridge...
Fancied a defender but the built in screen protector bothers me as I am worried about it fading and misting over time, where as the commuter does allow for the separate screen skin which then can be removed and replaced independently if required.
Would really like the defender but it is increasingly looking like the commuter will be the best solution :/
I just picked the Aegis off eBay for $26 shipped. Good case so far.

You actually wasted time saying this, contribute to the conversation or move on. To much flaming going on, now I remember why I can't stand xda anymore. To much ******* attitude instead of help. Does it physically hurt you that it's here instead of accessories, NO IT DOESN'T SO MOVE ON!!!!
It depends on your preference. Do you want a case that shows off the phone curves? How about a tough case for heavy protection. Or a case for light protection? Of maybe you want one that shows you notifications before you turn the phone on?
It can also depend on what type of person you are or your job. Do you work in construction? With children? At a desk?
Me personally, I work in a store with lots of people, and I have a 3-year-old nephew, plus I sometimes drop my phone. I don't care for "sexy" cases, I want tough cases, no matter how ugly.
But that's me. You might be different or want something completely the opposite.

I normally just use the TPU cases from eBay which work just fine. However, decided to invest a bit more on protection for the S4.
After a bit of searching I narrowed it down to the Neo Hybrid from Spigen and Atmosphere from Poetic. I think the slickness and price pushed me towards to Atmosphere more and that would be my recommendation.

Does your Spigen Slim Armor cover the entire bezel? I got one when it first came out, and it bugged me that it never fully covered the entire bezel. I'm in the process of returning the Slim Armor and already placed an order for the Neo Hybrid.
another vote for otter box defender, I work outdoors in a lot of forrested areas and it does me a solid. I would also check out the platinum series case with the holster and stand. It does a good job as well its just a slimmer less protective case compared to the defender.

It protects the entire bezel, but I can see a hair line portion of the chrome most the way around. I think I have gotten used to it.
I just got my rearth ringke case today and really like it. It's very very thin and light. I don't think it'll protect well from a drop, but should protect the phone from everyday scratches.
I also got a tpu case and did not like it because the edges were raised too high..it made it difficult to type!
Hey guys,
I am late to the Nexus 5 owner parade, but none the less really enjoying this phone. I have not been able to find a good case for it though, most are very slim and cover the back and sides but not top and bottom. Amazon has mixed reviews on alot of the more popular cases, but I'm guessing most of the cases might be hidden somewhere deep in the pages since the phone is a few years old. Any suggestions on a good protective case, something like an otterbox commuter series style versus a defender, I don't need all out protection, just good dual layer setup. I like the ballistic case, but I have ordered 2 and both were labeled Nexus 5, but for the Nexus 6
Appreciate any advice and feel free to post up pics of your setup you recommend if you are using it.
Slim armor by Spigen. even the false one from china are very good quality.

Yea it'd work, but the tempered glass would be under the cases own protective screen. Unless you mean rip the cases screen out all together, which again would work. But i honestly wouldn't say you'd need to. It's protected mine perfectly for 2 years and I'm on building sites etc

ringke fusion or spigen ultra hybrid. imo they've got quite good drop protection. almost 2 years using em.
I actually currently have the spigen ultra on my Z5. It's a really nice good fitting case. No where near the protection of the armourbox but still pretty good. I'd say if the armourbox was a 10 the spigen is about a 6-7 on protection. So if you don't want really rugged and just good decent protection then the spigen is really good

Best Case Brands!
If you need at least a list to choose, here are my picks:
1. Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circut
2. Caseology TPU Case
3. Diztronic Matte Black
4. Spigen Neo Hybrid (Best color is red
So far I have a history with Cruzerlite and Spigen, but I have recently bought a Caseology case from YouTube reviews that were really good.
Ringke Fusion. It's great and holds up well even after 1.5 years of use.
Spigen Slim Armor, durable and good looking. Totally worth the price.
Spigen
Spigen cases are pretty awesome, I have the Slim Armor one on my nexus, work perfectly and hasnt deteriorated after >1 year of use. They also have a lifetime warranty on the case I think so if it does mess up they will send you a new one for free

Hey guys,
I am late to the Nexus 5 owner parade, but none the less really enjoying this phone.

Any battery cases under $10 for nexus 5?
I've been pleased as Punch with this Ballistic case.

It's bulky and it isn't exactly cheap, but if you drop phones as often as I do it's worth it. Plus it feels pretty nifty in the hand.
