Hi,

How can I activate google wallet in my samsung nexus, I had downloaded the latest .apk file, tried to install could not install it, but my friend who has the same set of config (mentioned above) could install it and using it?

Not sure exactly what you mean by "tried to install could not install it". Do you have unknown sources checked under Settings >> Security?

When I go into Appbrain it shows me that I can update my Flash to the new version, but when I try it says that the app is not on the market. I knew it wasn't on the market, but I really can not figure out how to update it. What am I missing?
I looked for another thread like this but I couldn't find one.
Flash is on the market tho?

Download the gapps and flash it in recovery
Love my G Nexus
downloaded google play apk but doesnt show up in the recovery mode,
moved it onto my phone after downloading on my pc
You have to download the GAPPS zip and flash it in recovery just like u did your rom.

After flashing almost any custom rom you must flash a gapps (Google Apps) package. More info on what the package contains snd why it needs to be flashed separately can be found here.
The most up to date package can be found
here

Best users of XDA,
I have a problem with my current ROM.
I cant get into the Hybrid Settings. Everytime i open it it says "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped.".
I got the ROM from this url:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2276511
I have not seen any others users of this rom with my problem.
I cant reply to that topic because im a "Noob XDA user"
Or make a topic because I'm new.
So can anyone help me with this? Any idea's?
Thanks anyways
1) you posted in the wrong forum for questions
2) you never told us what the problem was.
Did you do a fresh install?

I'm using the cleanrom and it says I have an update from at&t. But, when I download the update recommend using Wi-Fi, it's takes me into recovery and asks me if I want to tryst unknown zips. So I chose yes and it aborts. No one seems to want to help a person out so I came to this thread

Search before posting. Someone just asked this yesterday and 3 days ago. But to answer the question, you cannot update with a custom recovery installed. You can find the update in the development section and flash it.

Go to your application settings and under All look for software update or something like that and disable it.
