I'm currently running latest JellyBro cm10 build and can't figure out how to get the Wifi tether app to work? Which device and options do I check?!

Yes you need an app for it to work on! 4g... plenty of tether apps out there....

I was wondering why on an aosp/aokp rom the hotspot is set into the settings and works flawlessly. But on the TW the hotspot, using TrevE WiFi tether, breaks the WiFi after it is used. Hmmmm..

Theres a box in Menu > Settings (treve mod wifi tether) that you need to check so it doesn't break your wifi

None of the WiFi tether apps I've tried on any jb rom work. Is this a T-Mobile thing? Or a jb rom thing?

I use WIFI Tether. Works great and no bandwidth limitations with an unlimited account. You have to go into the settings and select galaxy s ii for it to work properly.

Ah. Well as for your question, I haven't found any wifi tethering apps that work. I currently use Pdanet as either usb tether or Bluetooth tether.

this works for me
Only thing is you need to turn off wifi and restart your phone before turning on the tethering, and you'll need to restart the phone after to turn wifi back on.
I been searching and so fa not found a new method how to get Free WiFI tether with the TMO Stock JB 4.1.2 rooted, Is there a NEW WAY to do this?
I tried the steps from the ICS version from the link Below but it does not work with JB. when trying to turn ON MobileHotSpot after the tethering provisioning manager was frozen it just crash.
