ICS progress for the samsung SGS2 LTE

Im loving the development work that is going on for our beautiful TMobSGS2, but I'm surprised I havent seen a ICS port yet, especially with the Galaxy Nexus images being released.
Is anyone working on this in secret, or are there any other ICS roms that happen to work on our phone?
I would truly just love a rooted stock ICS rom. thats my dream at the moment. I dont know how to improve on ICS except switches in the notification bar, which is easy enough.

I doubt we will have a good working ICS before atleast a month from now. That is if we even get a stable one.

ICS came out two weeks ago on galaxy nexus...if you really want it then buy a galaxy nexus.

Are there going to be any pure ics roms made for galaxy s2. Currently using a vibrant with pure ics running, love pure ics just want a faster phone. Saw recent video running ics on galaxy s2 with no visible changes nothing like nexus. I suppose it its because of touch wiz. Is there a dev working on pure ics like what is on nexus? Trying to figure which phone to get. Thanks for your comments in advance.

There should be some roms soon. Best you may be able to hope for is a CM based rom. Not pure ICS but pretty close

Cause ignorant @ssholes wont shut up and troll on the stupid thread. So Rev probably requested it to be deleted. Honestly non of us in the community should get a developement anymore cause as a community we all should be one... Not a majority being trolls and wont shut up. at least he tried. we lack super devs that some other devices have but I hate seeing someone get flamed for trying to do something when people flamming just sit on xda and leach peoples work with no appreciation and troll around just making some of these threads a horrid place.

Ummm.... No complaining here jist wondering how it went with ics. Perhaps the issue with this forum are people like yourself that ASSume too much. you always run the risk of making an ass out of you amd me ;-)

Paranoid Android ROM?

was just curious if anyone has caught wind of port of paranoid android rom coming to the sprint gs3. ive seen it on the international and the verizon one. id love to be able to pick between the 3 different uis on this phone. thanx in advance. and befor anyone flames, yes i did use search lol

super excited for this as well but patient. While some had the s3 since initial launch over a month ago. Many have only had the phone for 2 to 3 weeks. It will happen give it time.

But Verizon got it already

I've ported it to the AT&T S3 but haven't made a thread for it yet because I have one bug left in it, call audio doesn't work. I could port it to the Sprint S3 and upload it in this thread if anyone wants to test it. Call audio should be the only bug, well if there's any bugs in CM10 those will be present too.

well im personally using aokp right now. it takes care of a lot of the cm10 bugs and it has a few customizations that i really enjoy already baked in (i.e. center clock and circlemod battery). the main reason i want the paranoid android is the in depth ui changing. and with jellybean now having 3 different uis baked in id love to go through and tinker with all of that. i really want the 7inch notification bar ui and the tablet camera ui ( i love the option wheel look). but just like it was mentioned earlier, more roms is never a bad thing but the only way i see me giving up aokp is for some PA love lol

but it is amazing to have a non htc phone with fully working sense on it.. and again if you see Eugene's twitter he have a lot done and working.
hell it took a long time for the amaze to have a sense 4 port and its just dead cause of lack of kernel drivers,

Samsung diamonds hahaha , u sir are completely mad
Samsung's build quality has never been all that great ...HTC on the other hand has been known to have some of the best built phones ...
And don't even get me started with Samsung's updates compared to HTC update times

fan boy much? HTC is now booloader locked requiring an automatic warranty void if you want to play with the phone, also s-on?! talk about killing a community. HTC makes sexy phones that's about it. Sense is fun...for about a day. In terms of development, this is pretty cool.

Sense is probably the best out the crap.. Sense-twiz-motocrap. Vanilla over anything. Twiz blows. Sense is good for like 5minuets.

What's a warranty?

Guys... Getting Sense on the T989 is no small feat. Sitting here and ****ting on the project does no one any good. If you don't like sense, move along. I don't see many of you guys porting completely different interfaces to our phone.
The whole point of Android and XDA is to share development work. If we didn't work on ports, we wouldn't have AOKP, CM or MIUI.

You guys are all missing the point... Its the fact that it has been said a million times that sense cant be ported to non-HTC devices...At least thats what I remember about a year ago. Personally, Im stoked about this project and cant wait till I see a download link!!

ATT S3 development fund raiser for the legendary scotts rom

As a long time user of Scotts Rom for the Galaxy Note 2, I continue to be absolutely impressed with his talents, tenacity towards refining his builds and how great they run. Nothing fancy, just the smoothest, de bloated as close to stock as you can get without all that att nastiness.
He does not own an ATT S3 and thus that to me is a major bummer.
So in speaking with Scott, he has fully committed to building his amazing roms for the ATT S3. My reason for this, I recently bought my wife an S3 and would like to have his work on her phone.

Scott has the fastest, most battery eff. clean roms I,ve seen. I am currently using his rom on my note 2 and would love to have this on my wifes s III. He develops roms for many devices, including the verizon s iii, but needs the att s iii to test and develop for us.. Check out his threads on the att and verizon note 2 and verison s iii devloper threads and see how others praise him for his work. If you want the most stable battery eff. rom available help us get the att s iii. Scott made the commitment to develop for this phone but can't affford to buy it just for us. If interested check the link above on OP, if enough people get on board it wouldn't cost us much each and would be well worth it.

Might as well give it a shot.

Does he build off touchcrap ROMs or from Google source. If he just modifies stock ROM it can't be good. Touch wiz just sucks overall no one can make it good. Lol

If it's features your looking for then TW is the answer. If it's customization then aosp. TW will never be as customizable as aosp and aosp will never have the features of TW. You apparently love customization. I live my features.

Nothing really. They are all based on stock roms and there is only so much one can do with it.

So I'm thinking of traiding my gf my one s for her s3 and I just got the sence 5 on it and really like it. Seeing as I'm new to the s3 I was wondering if there is a sence 5 Rom for the s3 or if that is even posable.

Not the same situation at all, its like getting touchwiz on your One S, takes sooo much work with kernels and drivers just to get it to boot. Possible but most devs would rather focus on "bettering" a stable working OS.

But getting touchqiz to boot on an s3 is natural... I understand what your saying my point is that a were taking sense 5 from another phone and making it work. There other phones with sense other than HTC the I 9000 has a sense build I do believe
