I think my power button going to die
So my question is can i turn my phone on if my power button died ?
Because I will take it to the warranty service ..& I need to make my phone back on yakjujp build before i take it to them + unroot + Relock the bootloader

Why not do it while the power button works? Or else you might be out of luck.

Talk dirty to it, thatll turn it on.
But on a serious note...
there are ROMs that allow you to turn your screen on with the power buttons, but I agree with what he said above me. ^^

Me: "Hey phone"
Phone: "Yes?"
Me: "Guess what?"
Phone:"What?"
Me: "Mud(;"
Phone: "Phone turns on"
Me:
HAHAHAHAHAHA
you guys are so funny
I don't want to change to yakjujp because it haven't updated to jelly bean yet
& i don't want to get back to ICS
Is there any solution for this ?
Not sure. I know you can not ADB you phone to life. If it's off ADB can not connect.
Try playing with different stuff. Like pulling out the battery and put it in the charger, put the battery back... try different combos and see if anyting will wake the phone from the dead.
Well my power button is still working >> but i need to know if there is a way to turn it on if the power button died

What do you mean you think it'll die soon? Is it loose or something?

i am new to the Android world. I followed some instructions and tried flashing my rom with RUU setup while the flash was in progress my little couzin mistakenly pulled out the USB cable, the device frooze, then i pulled out the battery. Since the my DHD has been totally dead. No sign of life atall. plug the power cable nothing seem to come on. I need help
Unless you have custom recovery & HBOOT it's not looking good.
With the phone turned off (pull battery out if you have too) press and hold the vol- then press power button. Hold for a few seconds. Does anything happen?
If nothing do you get the LED to blink?

i have tried that, still no sign of life. Nothing seems to becoming on.
then it is simple then. you can visit your nearest HTC Service Centre and get a replacement. your phone should be still under warrant.

Afraid arzme is right. Just don't tell them the cable was pulled out. If you purchased from a store take it to them, you may even get a replacement.

You might just try a story like: I just wanted to switch my SIM card and the phone turned off. Now it doesn't turn on any more.
Just don't mention anything about rooting/flashing/S-OFF and try to appear like a total noob and you will be fine.
Hi , I'm having problems with my Galaxy T999. I have rooted and have not yet installed any kernels/roms. The only thing i did was installed a couple apps from the play store . and wanted to check out the CWM recovery menu and was going to try to installed "hyperX camera mod". First thing i did was shut off the phone . Then pressed on the Volume up+Home+Power button . After doing that my phone didn't turn on or anything , no vibration or anything . I hooked it on with my computer and press the power button and it was able to connect and then disconnected. I am at lost now and can't seem to find any answer . Have looked every where not sure what to do now. Any solution will be much appreciated .
***
It seems to disconnect due to no driver found for QHUSUB_DLOAD .
Without any solutions I'll probably gonna get my phone replace . T_T
Does your phone disconnect immediately, or does it stay connected for a brief amount of time? If it stays connected briefly, try using adb during this period to boot into recovery. The command is "adb reboot recovery" (without the quotes).

Try to remove your battery then plug in charger. See if you can turn on. If you can turn it on, leave it 30 minutes. Then put in the battery.
By the looks of the result the computer gives you when you plug it in, seems it is hard bricked! Are you sure you didn't flash anything from the I9300 section like a rom?

The hyper x camera mod isnt entirely for our phone. I've read that it's flashable to our phone though, so I'm not sure what's going on here. Maybe the OP needs to link where he got the mod. Ih and stay away from the intl version all together.

Yup its a paperweight. The Intl version has the system partition in a different place. So you borked an important one.
Only thing that's throwing me off is that the OP suggests he didn't actually get around to flashing the mod.

SGS3 T999v wont start up.
My sgs3 t999v would turn off by itself every other time I hit the lock button.
like I would be txting and then if I hit the lock button it would turn off.
So I though a factory reset would fix the problem. (volume up + home).
after the reset it still kept turning off randomly.
and now I cant even get it to the normal interface. or get in to the manual reset mode.
Device was previously jail broken, however was returned back to stock and was working fine for 3 months.
I had my otterbox on for every fall my phone had, so I dont think it would be a hardware issue.
the phone was running 4.1.1 I believe.
stock rom.
help please! :C

Can you get download mode? (Volume down, HOME and power)
Even though you have a case on it, it sounds like it was probably damaged by one of the falls. Most cases as far as I'm aware mostly protect the display. The shock from impact can still damage internal components, even with a case built with this in mind.

Hey thanks for replying!
I drained the battery and got a new charge in it and managed to get it booted up
however now the problem of the lock button is still here.
like if i use it to lock my screen it just turns off on me, and it takes multiple times for me to get the phone up and running again.
you could see if you could find a widget or widgets that will basically put a button on your screen that can power off, enable lock screen, reboot recovery/download, etc.
Then just use the HOME button to turn the screen back on.
It sounds to me like a hardware problem, but if you can flash another Rom and do a full wipe/factory reset you'll know for sure.
I hope this helps. Not sure what else you can do besides getting it repaired or replaced unfortunately.
Maybe someone else will have a better idea though.

Can i turn on my phone without powerbutton? Is there anyway to do this?
PS: Sorry for my poor English
No, I don't think so. You will need the power button, but maybe there is someway like an expert can do it? IDK.
Have a look at this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2128581
It's possible that you need to try different things because this link doesn't deal with Samsung device The purpose is to go into the donwload mode and cancel with Vol down to reboot the phone normally.

I opened up my phone and I fixed my power button. The phone's broken part is that:
http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-2-II-N7100-i317-i605-L900-Power-Button-Connector-Flex-Cable-/00/s/MTYwMFgxNjAw/z/7w4AAMXQySpRSpbL/$T2eC16hHJGoE9nuQhoiDBRSpbKofjQ~~60_35.JPG
There was a very small piece on that part, but it was not the right place. I put it right place and my power button came back to life.
But i think it is a temporary solution, i should buy that part from somewhere.
And still we don't have answer that question: How can we turn on phone without press power button.

This happened to me Today. After a lot of browsing, I was unable to find any working solution. (I have an USB Jig but it was not with me).
By mistake, I did the following and it seems to work: plugged the phone and while it started to display the battery (before it shows the %age of green battery thinghy) I quickly pulled the cable out.
This jump-started it and it turned on
good luck.
Hey guys, I was having trouble with my phone, I used the utility offered by HTC to restore phone back to factory settings, it ran, completed, then the phone shut off and now its seems to be done. I cant find anything to get it back on.
Any ideas?

What utility? You mean factory reset from bootloader?? or RUU??
Hold the power button till it bootsup... Can you access bootloader? Press Power button + Volume down key together till the bootloader shows up...
The ROM update utility from HTC site. Supposed to flash stock r9m back on phone, the status bar went to complete, said your phone is ready to use, powered off and wont come back on.
