[InfectedRomDev]sorry to bother

can you please allow me to post in dev? i'm the one who's doing the cooking and the main testing over the infected rom,so i'd like to be able to answer and post new versions without having to ask eaglerazer..
Can't you post there?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1446677
Edit: just saw the Q&A thread.
i wanna post there too, its my 10th post now, yay at last im free
Who thought up that 10 post threshold anyways?
Instead of preventing spamming it rather encourages it.
aw i hope they remove this policy.. the reason why i register is to post rom and comment but because of this policy i can't.. hope they change it if not i start to make a comment anywhere just to finish this policy

PM one of them yourself. You are the one who wants to take contact with them, so you should send the PM, it's not their problem.
You can see the moderators in the section, above topics.
Moderators do not have the time to read every single thread posted by users.
If you want to contact a moderator, scroll down to the end of the page of the forum, and you will see the assigned moderators:

Thats kind of mean... even if he does refuse to listen to instructions to post in the q & a thread he is just trying to get help. No reason for you to say that.

How can u say that when u can see all his posts containing "deleted blah blah" all over the general section? Every thread he opened told him to ask in Q&A thread and clearly he doesn't give a **** about rules.
There mate, and please next time use the Q and A.
Thanks in advance.

Well he is new after all. Might take a while to get used to the forum and its rules, he may just be unfamiliar. Besides, he has only created about 6 threads so far, which really isnt that much.

As for you just post your question here next time. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000417 . If you have trouble searching for it in the moble app its the "stickies" tab. I wont always be able to vouch for your "noob"ness(to the forum) in future.

Well when I was new here, I never did this. I always tried to find a way to fix my problems on my own and if nothing turns up, i look for help.
My guess is this guy did not watch the noob video XDA wants him to watch so he learns the BASIC rules. The General Section CLEARLY has a stickied thread for ALL questions yet he seems to act like it does not exist. In all of my time here in XDA I have NEVER created thread just for this purpose.

I see.. but its no use arguing over such a trivial matter. Well lets see if he learns after this round, which i hope he does. If he doesnt, im afraid i would have to take back my words then, haha
I hope i havent offended any of you guys in one way or another in, dr01ne, xxmyselfxx, mo22i. I never would have intended it that way. just want to say that these new users may need some scolding or reminding for the rules to sink in, and that there isnt any need for all the "hope you get banned" stuff. Besides not everyone might be as resourceful as you
Well I hope he learns his lesson. If this keeps up, I will be forced to take action and inform the forum moderators for this matter. A temporary suspension (is such exists) or a permanent ban/deactivation are my courses of action. I will not tolerate this kind of behavior, to me it is insulting and also irritating to keep seeing threads like these all around the forums.

How to delete my post?

When i try to edit/delete, i can't see option to DELETE my entire post in thread. I actually use to edit it how "Deleted", but it remain there...suggestion?
Only moderators and admin can delete posts. If you wish to have a post deleted you can use the report post option and a moderator or admin will delete it if they feel it is appropriate to do so.
Edit
I deleted the two posts that you had changed to deleted and the other one asking how to delete your posts.

So, if i would like to delete one post, i simply should edit like "deleted" and then report myself to inform some moderator...thank you!
P.s. about THANKS i noted that in my thanked section are insert some post that i did not thanked with button, only written "thank you" and then automatically i saw the thanks in section...does it work that way?

Basicly yes but we hope that you make posts that are constructive to xda in the 1st place so that there won't be a need for you to report them to be deleted.
If you find someones post useful then hit the thanks button on the post, there is nothing more to it. :good:
why delete a post? just let it be

Trying to 10 post spam your way into the dev section is a sure fire way to get your posts deleted.
