I'm sure Samsung knew how to fix this, they were just focused on fixing the real bugs.
But now they can take your work and finally add it to the next OTA.

If they wanted to fix this issue I'm sure it would of been done. The thing that bothers me is how they released it in an ota. I can understand leaks...
It's funny though how samsung made the recent apps work fine on the international version and not for us (the fix is using an international file for anyone wondering).

If the rom is deodexed then yes.
Hey _Dan can you Odex it?
Edit: nevermind I did it my self and made a flashable .zip for Odex stock rom
_dan here the Odex Edition Flashable zip: Temp Remove
You can add this Odex version in OP if you like, signed and I tested it 6 times in FH13, FI03 and FI25
Odexed via Terminal Emulator
Edit: Fix in this page: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1924375&page=4
Then add odexed SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex to extracted bugfix.zip folder structure and added ui_print ("Odex By Omar04; ui_print("Thanks goes to _dan") to update script then zip it again and signed with Android Signer. Profit!

Hey _dan.. Kinda mixed up here. Tried going from stock Fi25 to crawrj's deodexed and got stuck at the 4g splash on boot... Can you be a little more specific on what you used to get this to work? Thanks.
Good looking Dan, & Samsung could've been fixed this, check this out, this screen is from the recently released ICS on my g/f's T-Mobile Galaxy S Blaze 4G & as you can see it's fixed on there.

Testing this fix now. Gimme just a minute.
I have no Idea why Samsung and/or Sprint chose to do this, but with the LG8 and LI3 updates, we've lost the ability to select the WiFi frequency band (2.4/5GHz). Maybe the WiFi chip isn't stable enough with that option but F that. I've decided to add it right back.
Grab it here: LI3 ROMs:
Download DeOdex
Grab it here: LG8 ROMs:

Wipe Dalvik.
You will only need to flash this if your current ROM is based on the LG8/LI3 update.

i can get a custom recovery on a non rooted phone its just questionable if the files will flash in a non rooted phone; some files flashed require system partition build info which requires a ops file in the odin before flash so thats why i ask if dueable, and i can always put back my stock kernel / recovery as well so i can boot from getco. but im not rooted cause all there is to offer are one click roots which install the OS and i like my stock from official ota. i know the stock odin says they are official as well but my phone has more problems when i install one of those packages vs being on a stock ota. so if there is a root method for just rooting current fi27 please let me know but thats why im not rooted.

i can get a custom recovery on a non rooted phone its just questionable if the files will flash in a non rooted phone; some files flashed require system partition build info which requires a ops file in the odin before flash so thats why i ask if dueable, and i can always put back my stock kernel / recovery as well so i can boot from getco. but im not rooted cause all there is to offer are one click roots which install the OS and i like my stock from official ota. i know the stock odin says they are official as well but my phone has more problems when i install one of those packages vs being on a stock ota. so if there is a root method for just rooting current fi27 please let me know but thats why im not rooted.

I believe it would flash fine. Also, you can root it by flashing a superuser zip which just adds the superuser apk (I'd use supersu) and then the binary files.

Was gonna say this zip flashes to preload partition because that's where jmtjb places the secwallpaper.apk

I tried doing that but it gave me an error when trying to move it over since there is already a SecWallpaperChooser in the system/apps. I tried renaming the one in the system apps so I could move the one from the zip over but that resulted in an error as well....
However, after trying this using Astro I realized that Astro does not usually give read/write access, so I got Root Explorer and now I have the wallpapers....Thanks!!!!!:good::good::good::good:
