after you flash the latest recovery. You will be good to flash any roms you want.

I am completely new to the whole Android rooting scene. I don't want to screw my new phone up, or break something, but after doing some research I think I know what ROM+Kernel I want. I am willing to Thank + Donate to whoever can make me an idiot proof guide to get the following working (Mac or Windows):

you are going to have to do your homework my friend and get your hands dirty.I see people in here flashing roms from other carriers all the time. The most I see is fixes for mms. Honestly its a great forum but if you want to root your phone then you should also learn how to fix it if something goes wrong. With that said there are plenty of tutorials int he development section. Plenty of wikis in the development section and plenty of questions already asked and answered. Take some time skim through and enjoy.
I could of easily of pointed you in the direction you needed to go but quite honestly finding it yourself and learning a little something is a great start. Not trying to discourage you just trying to get you going the right way...

one other word of advice please read up on the brick bug and there are safe versions of CWM to use. That's important my friend

There is a lot of discussion in other threads and im just trying to find information and links for the files i need. I am currently on NDE63P rooted and unlocked trying to find nov 22 update file and supersu file. Every other thread has 25+ pages that i dont want to read through to try and find the files. if someone can link me the new files and small instructions to update and root that would be awesome.

And go to first result. Look up "adb sideload"
Go to SuperSU thread in the ROMs Kernels subforum.
Look at the OP
Go to TWRP Alpha2 theead.

If you cannot read those things, I'm afraid of spelling it out here because you may brick your device and Chainfire and Dees_Troy wrote excellent instructions. Not 25 pages?!?! Just read official install directions!

probably should of worded what i needed better. im perfectly capable of performing root and everything. i just didnt know what the most updated file versions were. thats more the information i was looking for.
