Yes it does, my Note2 from Clove (UK version) works fine on the 3G network with Robbers err Rogers, I mean.
It also works well with Telus.

You should be good. I went to the UK and Singapore with an unlocked Nexus One and it worked great. Just got my unlock code for my T989 as I have a trip to Sweden in 2 weeks. I used Giff-Gaff in the UK and Starhub in Singapore. Study the carriers frequencies before you go and buy a pre-paid sim and you will be good to go.

This phone is not pentaband which means it isn't guaranteed to work on 3g for all carriers. It does have 4 of all 5 bands, the only one you're missing is 900mhz so depending on where in Europe you're going you'll have 3g. You'll have to check the specific carrier you plan on using and as long as they support one of the bands, you'll be fine. (meaning they don't only use the 900 bands for 3g)
This will help. Still trying to find the site I used that told the carriers frequencies.

At&T version on Bell

I asked this question over on androidforums.com, but I did not receive a definitive answer. If I purchased a used At&T GS3, would I be able to use it with full LTE functionality on the Bell Canada network if I unlocked it?
Thanks.
I would imagine us they're the exact same phone both i747

Thanks. Can anyone confirm this?
Well you can use any unlocked phone on Bell. So basically it should work

No you can't. The LTE frequencies are different.

I can confirm that they are exactly the same hardware. You could flash the bell firmware from Samfirmware on the AT&T version, and it would be identical to what you get from a bell store here in canada. The LTE Frequency for AT&T is different, as another poster noted, but the Radio firmware for Bell would make it work.

No they aren't.. same thing.. you can flash a AT&T modem on a Bell phone, hence, the same.
I am running the latest att firmware on my bell phone so no issues

Bad IMEI-ESN works for Wind in Canada?

Hi, so my cousin is coming to visit from the states and he offered to give me a S3, locked to T-Mobile, that he has. The problem is that is has a bad IMEI. Since I'm from Canada, I don't know too much about it. I was wondering if I unlocked the S3, can I use it here in Canada on Wind Mobile, which is AWS or anyother GSM network like Rogers or Bell.
Ya you can use it on wind or mobilicity also other carriers in Canada.

When you say bad imei do you mean tmobiles blocked it, or that it was lost during a flash of a rom/mod?
I'm assuming the first, but just to clarify...

Please confirm with us OP - Wind will block it but Mobilicity will not, as far as I know. Mobilicity is not participating in this "bad IMEI" list.

Please confirm if the SGN Wind Mobile work with Mobilicity Canada & Tmo & at&t US?

I'm not sure if Wind has changed their systems in the last few months, but I was told you have to have a phone that supports AWS 1700/2100. I was told my Sony Xperia, that supports both freqs wouldn't work. I don't know who to trust.

[Q] NTT Docomo GNex 1700 mHz support?

Hi I'm a newcomer here.
I'm going to US for a 10 days trip recently so I'm choosing a SIM card now. Tmobile prepaid card could be a good candidate but the only problem is that the prepaid card says I need a WCDMA 1700mHz supported phone. I'm using a NTT Docomo SC-04D(Japanese version of Galaxy nexus). Does this phone support 1700mHZ? I've googled a lot but they give different answers.
Any other advice on choosing SIM card is appreciated. I'll stay in U.S for 10 days with one gnex and probably one HP veer. Data plan is top priority.
Thanks in advance.
I have an unlocked NTT DoCoMo gnex and it works just fine on T-Mobile. You might need to unlock it tho, not too sure.

Yes it's unlocked since I'm not using it in Japan. So 3G on WCDMA 1700 is working just fine on your gnex? What's your data plan?
Yeah everything works. I have HSPA+ on T-Mobile prepaid
