Thanks Dear for Fast reply. The given boot img will work on 2.17.751.2 as it is of 2.17.401.2?
Oh opps, didn't see that. You can find the boot.img inside the RUU.
Not too sure if this'll work or not.

As I was on 1.29.751.12 and I updated to 2.17.751.2 through OTA, but unfortunately i forget to take backup of this udate with original boot img . and i took backup with custom boot img and I flash custom rom of CM 10.
so now i need to revert to stock rom. That why I need 2.17.751.2 RUU Boot img file.

Hi guys
I have problem here
I tried to unroot my phone because i wanted the stock rom again..
But somehow it went wrong and the bootloader is relocked with a security warning under it.
I also have a bootloop, so i don't know what to do right now
I think you relocked it with custom recovery, and maybe also your ROM.and boot.img don't match.
Did you restore a nandroid backup? Flash a boot.img? Or just relock it?
I suggest you run an RUU if you can, to find out which:
fastboot getvar version-main
Or main-version, can't remember.
Get it from htcruu.com, I think. Damn, my memory is shot today.

Well i did something with custom recovery.. but my memory also is **** today haha.
I only tried to unroot my htc by deleting the su file and the other file, which the name i have forgotten..
I was following a guide, but later on i saw it was for stock roms only, and at that time i had a custom rom..
Maybe that's the problem?
Anyways, i haven't got any nandroid backup, just a titanium backup.. but that one is on the phone right?
Grab your version-main and then look for a backup or RUU. There are threads for both, in the dev section, and probably sticky.
Backups: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33728099
RUUs: http://htcruu.com/?dir=Endeavor
but what do you suggest me to do first?
im kinda noob at this ahah

You can run the RUU ....and correct me if i'm wrong !
Put the phone in bootloader menu with the bootloader LOCKED (what you already have)
plug the phone in the pc (fastboot USB mode)
Run the RUU from pc WITH admin rights !

I don't know too what exactly the problem is..but just guest...maybe ARHD rom can't support just unlocked bootloader device, maybe must be s-off too..
If you want still try another ROM like stock but ICS version and with just a little tweaked..you can try SVHD ROM too..that most stable and good battery life rom that i've ever try until now..

Ok, try this then, the wifi problem probably isn't hardware related as the button is greyed out. therefore no need to return phone (yet)
1, You are s off (fantastic, keep this as you can do alot more to sort issues out this way)
2, flash a custom recovery, for simplicity, use philz recovery - rename the img to recovery.img and place in folder on your PC where your adb/fastboot stuff is, then reboot ur m8 into bootloader and using CMD typr "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" then "fastboot erase cache". You should now have something to restore......
3, ......THIS on your device. basically on the root of your internal storage there should be a folder called "clockworkmod" and in there a folder called "backup" unzip the file and then copy across the file to that backup folder. Reboot into recovery and restore the backup. You now have a stock rom installed.
4, Flash THE 1.54.401.10 FIRMWARE using teither of the guides i showed you. You now have stock rom and firmware. also stock recovery and stock hboot as the firmware takes care of these for you
5, reboot your device and check for software updates, you should be able to take the ota and apply it, furthermore by completeing the previous steps, this should have solved your wifi isse and u will be on 4.4.3

I want to apply the Lollipop update but need the stock recovery for my current firmware (3.32.206.9). This is for an HTC One M8 with O2 UK branding. Does anyone have this version of the stock recovery available?

Download the ota, install later, take out the firmware.zip out of of the ota.zip.....then open the firmware.zip and take out the recovery.img and flash it. Then apply the ota again.

I've been hearing people say that firmwares should always be flashed in increments. I went from 3.32.206.9 straight to 4.16.401.10. Is that too much of a jump. How do I know what firmwares are in between?
Thanks.
Ps. I was s-off and supercid if that means something.
Means nothing in this instance as you've gone from the o2 build to unbranded EU build, and 3.x to 4.x is the next incremental step
It only matters if you're doing the OTAs in order as they have to be done one at a time as each one requires the previous version to be present to patch
I was thinking of selling my phone and I would like to downgrade it to nougat.
I'm using leedroid and this is the information on my phone:
UNLOCKED
FUSED
CID-BS_US001
MID-2PS650000
S-OFF
Compilation number 3.16.617.9
I know that with s-off it is easier to perform the downgrade but I do not want to break my phone so if someone could help me I would appreciate it a lot!
I was looking for the firmware on this page:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/how-to/2016-05-27-fastboot-flashing-firmware-t3387520
but I do not know which is the one indicated for my phone, I also do not know which RUU I should flash.
I would look for the 2.41.617 RUU and flash that, then do the "erase persist" command which you can find in the guides section in the "solution no signal" thread.

If i had to do this i would use the zip, but that's still my opinion.
If the RUU doesn't work the first time you can flash the 2.41.617 firmware first (via fastboot) and then flash the RUU, then erase persist.
Should do the trick
