Hi folks. I recently bought an HTC one from att. I like it but the storage is lacking. I know I will never get all 16 gb of space, but after loading 5.5 gb of music, I found myself with roughly 2.5 gb of space left on the phone and then 1.7 gb on internal. For a phone that advertises beats audio I find that shortage of space discouraging. How do you use your space?

Just trying to confirm and make sure this is normal..
I have a Tab S and in the Task Manager screen it says I only have 2.71GB of ram available. I thought these devices have 3gb? Is this normal to have less than the 3gb promised showing?

Yes. Probably the 1000/1024 MB calculation thingy. They usually either use 1000 MB as one gigabyte or 1024 - whatever looks best. Wouldn't worry, that's completely normal. Just look at any old hard drive you may have - buy a 1 tearybyte (1000 gigabyte) one, get 931 actual gigabytes.
So what is the solution ? Method does not work and do not work with me

so instead of replying to the old thread you opened a new one? hmm...
as the op of the other thread noted this error common and can be ignored.
on a side note, your lumia 540 has only 1Gig of ram. thats a bit harsh.
it also has only 8 Gigs of storage. and with that you only have like 3 Gigs free.
I have a MTCB-HA-V2.85 with a PX3 (RK3188) SoC I believe. how much memory is on this SoC? I have 1x THGBMFG7C2LBAIL and 2x H5TQ4G63AFR. I'm so confused. To me it looks like I have a 16gb storage and 8gb of memory(2x4). I know this isn't true because my system says 1gb.

Never mind I figured it out. Gb vs GB.
Hello, so I followed this guide and put new 64GB MicroSD card into phone, formatted is as internal storage, moved system onto it and unfortunately it doesn't seem to work as intended - free space is still few hundred MBs as it was before and I cannot install some bigger game because it shows there is not enough space :-\
It's MIUI 11.0.2

it shows system storage is 53.49GB, but some OS parts think it's not free. I can connect it to PC and I see there is almost 10GB in DCIM\Camera and this works fine in the gallery app.
