What about Fast Burst Camera Lite?

Not gonna be possible to do that on S2 like it does on S3. Different cameras and tech going on there... but you can get some camera apps that give you a small burst - **Look for HDR cam apps and maybe try Ultra Burst or Fast Burst (what daveyannihilation said)

Well thats as good as is gets until YOU port the s3 camera over to our s2.
Ive been using fast burst camera and its pretty darn impressive

Well, Fast Burst Camera application is actually useless, as it limited to very low resolution in Galaxy S2 -800x600 (i've contacted the developer and confirmed that theres nothing he can do about it)

[Q] App for panorama in CM7.2

I flashed official CM7(latest nightly) and I liked its performance. But I found out that the camera app was poor and it is not as good as the one in Samsung Stock firmware. Also, the panorama and smile shutter option is missing and there is no way to use flash in video mode. So I want to ask a few things...
1)Is there any good panorama apps in the market or somewhere else which is like the one in stock camera and which takes good pictures without blur? I need it very much!
2) Is there any way to enable flash in video recording?
3) Is there any app for smile shutter(I use it rarely anyway, mostly for showoff!
Thanks in advance!

Ok...i have used long before. Let me see if it has become better.
Edit: It is not bad but panorama is blurry and the processing takes a lot of time.

Best Camera App?

Since i installed cm9, the only thing i missed was the camera app from stock.
Im wondering which is the best camera app for cm9? hopefully close to how good the stock touchwiz one is.
I use ucam. Its the closest to tw camera I could find as far as options go. Plus some. Its my default now

I mainly use Procapture and Camera ZOOM. Both are great.
Camera ZOOM & ProCapture +1
Camera Zoom FX
Camera FV-5, nothing matches the level of control you can take over your phones camera, this app is what is keeping me from investing in a point-and-shoot (proud owner of a 5DMKII DSLR, but it is a lot to have with you all the time). If you know a little more about taking pictures than point-and-shoot, check it out.
Camera zoom is the best. The stable shoot algorithm is perfect for low light shoot. Like image stabilization on steroids

I was reading the features and seeing all the recommendations in this thread.....well just bought that app!
I will throw my opinion in on Procapture for wide shots since I haven't gotten as good of shots out of the stock camera. And I really enjoy Vignette for the ability to edit pictures later AND the devs there are top notch, any problem I have ever had they have taken care of me quick and easy.
Stock camera is the most stable.

[REQUEST] burst shot MOD

Hi,
As you all know, burst shot mode is supported in the quad-core mobiles, so I was wondering it would be really nice if we could have a burst shot mode in the stock camera of our N4
How many of you are with me, and want to have that mod?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Its already in cm10.1 (see attachment) although its not like you probably expect
Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk 2
You can use CameraZOOM FX, it has a Burst mode and works pretty well, I think its on sale right now

Galaxy S 4 Camera on Jelly Bam 8.4 Sample

Hey guys I just wanted to take a quick sample video of my backyard for anyone curious as to how the quality is on the Google Edition Galaxy S 4 camera on a Galaxy S III running Jelly Bam 8.4.
In my opinion the quality is still amazing in both 720p and 1080p. The sample I've provided is in 1080p.
I am one of those people who constantly switches back to the stock because of the quality of the AOSP cameras but the Google Edition camera is by far superior.
It's enough to make me want to stay on AOSP without gripes about the camera. Let me know what you guys think.
:good:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Vam9an1M8k&feature=youtu.be
I've also attached a couple of images so you can see the image quality as well. Again, in my opinion, the image quality isn't as good as stock but pretty darn close.
Can you provide a link to the camera file that you found?

Can anyone recommend a camera app?

Okay so I started using the stock ROM but then I moved over to cyanogen for a little while only to find out that the camera in cyanogen was really bad so I move back to stock and I'm not saying I regret the decision but I really would love to go back to cyanogen so I was wondering if anyone might know of a camera app that is comparable to the stock app for this device any help would be appreciated!

yes I was using focal but i cannot have a buggy camera. im a photographer and I use my phone a lot for scouting for shoots rather than carrying around my main gear. need something that will replace the cm10 sh*t camera with good features and functionality as the stock camera on the s4.
ProCapture!
There's an .apk for the Google Edition camera over in the Themes/Apps section. I use it alongside the stock camera and it's every bit as good I think.

I disagree with the assessment that AOSP camera is sh*t. Kudos to the developers - it's pretty fast and very, very usable, and the swipe to gallery is great (haven't seen that in any other party camera app). I'm picky about the camera.
That said, if you're set to find a 3rd party camera, then look at Camera FV-5.
Compared to all the other apps listed on this thread, it's superior with basic camera features missing in the other apps, such as focus mode, manual ISO, exposure compensation, exposure bracketing, grid layovers, etc. No gimmicky filters or effects like the others listed here. It makes a decent 'manual' camera out of the limited capability that the phone comes to begin with. It shows the 'life' shutter speed. Its auto ISO has a bias to go higher ISO than AOSP camera - up to 2000, so it may guard against shake but at the expense of grainier pics in the darker settings, but these phones aren't meant for that anyway. ProCapture is the closest to FV-5, but not as good for manual settings (i.e., after you set the exposure compensation on ProCapture, you won't see the value explicitly shown, so that could trip you). The one thing about FV-5 is it has a tad slower startup than the stock AOSP camera.
Updating my recommendation to either "A Better Camera" or Lenovo Super Camera.
