Is there any way I can get the transparent notification menu?
It is semi-transparent even when the notification bar is pulled down to check for notifications.
Currently I m on ARHD 9.7.2

hello
I have CM7
and I want to change the ugly black background in the notification bar, to something like sense or something...
there is an application to change it?
thanks for any help
Theme Chooser, download themes from the market or on here. Transparent themes won't work unless you patch cm7 first though.

Never heard of patching it. Could you tell me how to do that?
a sick status bar will just be the icing on the cake for my wildfire.
I have tried apps like custom status bar and status bar + but neither offer what i want.
I'm sure i found an app that let me set wallpapers as the texture for the bar, but i cant remember which app it was
I'm planning on moving from a Samsung Captivate to the One X whenever it decides to come out in the US, and the only thing I think I'll miss are Samsung's toggles in the notification shade (things like wifi, gps, blutooth, etc).
Is there a mod already available for HTC products/One X that can add this? I know there are some market solutions (a la Widgetsoid) but they, well, kinda suck. Would it even be possible to add this with Sense 4.0? Thanks!
I use SwitchPro. It lets you make a toggle widget and the ability to add it to the notification bar as well (dropdown)

I use Elixir_2 and Elixir_2_widget to have toggle options in status bar.

Do either of those programs toggle settings by touching the icons in the notification shade? Or do they both just open a new window where I toggle the settings? Thanks so much!

Notification toggle works great.
You could even use your samsung icons if you would like.(use custom icons)
I have it like this now:

For people, like myself, that aren't unlocked your ROM isn't useful - I prefer toggles to EQS personally, anyway
How do I make the nav bar transparent?
I have tried editing the home_nav_bar_bg.png in one of the theme's apk but that didn't change anything.
There are no good tutorials on theming as well.
I'd like to make the top bar (the one that shows battery etc) transparent too as now it is a bit dark opacity.

I never found what I really wanted so I extract resources from Android KitKat and I adapted for Google Edition ROM 4.3
Thanks to Guich for the help, the locations and the code for VRTheme.
Includes: Battery (made by myself), WiFi, Signal bar, alarm, sound vibrate, mute,…
-HOW TO-
• Make a backup of SystemUI.apk
• Download the zip file and flash in recovery.
For the white clock and transparent status bar, use XBlast Tools or Gravity Box (Xposed module).
And before you ask me, the girl is Jaimie Alexander and my launcher is Advanced Xperia Launcher by ra3al with Xperia Unread and finally, my density is 420p *
Enjoy!

Hello from Germany,
I have a problem with the statusbar. The signal - sign is a pitty to high.
Can you fix it please? Or is it because i'm on a cyanogenmod rom?
Best regards

I watching on this yet…
Edit: I have not this problem… :/
Im trying to get the white clock and translucent status bar. I downloaded Xblast but nothing comes to play when I reboot it.
I'd be great if the status bar would be transparent only on the home screen... Because everywhere else... It looks horrible...

Cant you make the statusbar transparent with gravitiybox?
Gravitybox worked for me. Though you need to enable it with Xposed Installer... otherwise it will not open.
