[Themed App] [complete redesign] ICS-themed XDA free application

This is essentially a complete redesign of my last theme, which needed some updating. Its a dark black/blue XDA free theme.
When you run this the first time, be sure to set your theme to dark under settings, or it will look weird.
Uninstall the old XDA first.

Yes, it's very doable. However, even as a temporarily free app via getjar, I wouldn't want to put out a free version of something that would eventually be a "paid for" app. I themed the premium version for myself, and if you'd like to learn how, just PM me and i'd be glad to help you.

Right on brotha. Yeah obviously even just themeing XDA or Tampa and posting the paid version is still Warez. But u could do the same thing I think ACSsyndicate did with Tapa. They made themed version and sold them on the market. They made a killing on them. Themed Tapa's would sell like crazy.

Eh I just use the simple version of the premium app. Didn't they just update it to match ICS? It looks like the settings menu with the gray gradient.
I like the old solid black background myself.

Apparently, the color temperature of my monitor was waaaay off when I themed it, and seeing it on the phone, I think I'll need to adjust the colors quite a bit tomorrow

Looking back, I tend to agree. I'm going to add a newer more minimalist and clean look.

I installed the new version from the original post and it just doesn't look the same the main font is a dark blue (hard to read on the black) and the post text is black on black

Edit: so found out the dock above is from a theme by kovdev for adw called dark edge blue. Just so everyone knows

So I guess I wasted my time doing that graphic for you with the blue under the icons? I can understand though, cuz you need ADW.Launcher and people pissed all over that app. Ironically I stopped using ADW and switched to Apex and I'm sticking with it for the time being. The reflection stuff wore off after about a week.

Lol noooo i hope you really dont feel like you wasted your time. You did a great job. I use nova right now and if I can avoid using adw Id be really happy
Nothing wrong with adw I used it for a long time I'm just liking these ics launchers right now but thank you again I will give your mod a shot one of these days. And by all means post it up here I'd like this to become a one stop for docks if possible!!!!

Yeah definitely just bumped your comment in aokp thread... pretty sure I read that bamf has this implemented in their rom. Could be imagining it though

Only keyboard and status bar icons are not done right. Everything else seems to be the exact copy of the original iOS UI

Even though I don't care much for iOS or Apple in general, this is a very good theme that emulates the look perfectly. Good job and thanks for being brave enough to post this here, lol

Could use some work for HDPI devices. Other than that I'd like to say good job. Some users might enjoy this theme when it becomes more mature. You'll definitely make some money on the Play Store on this in the future. My only suggestion for that is if you do plan on putting it on the Play Store, offer a free version which has almost everything to make it a complete iOS feeling then make a full version that themes everything on AOSP ROMs and offer that for a small donation of $1.99

After many requests for a black and yellow theme I finally put one together...I present to you Yellow / Black....I know real original right? I didn't know what in the hell to call it! I figured hell with it...I'll just name it what it is! Anyway I think that it came out pretty good! There are a few minor details that I will be going over and changing in the near future and will update it as soon as they are addressed. I wana take a sec and say thank you to everyone out there that supports my themes. Without you guys commenting and showing your appreciation I wouldn't be making these things for peeps to enjoy. I'd just be selfish and make them for myself! J/K... But this is a pretty cool colorway in my opinion for I haven't ran across too many pure yellow and black themes. I hope that everyone enjoys it and as always be on the lookout for my next release! I am almost finished with what is my favorite theme that I have made up until now...I used a color that is one of my favorite colors, Tiffany Diamond Co. Blue, and I assure you that it is S!CK! NOW I DIDNT KNOW THAT THIS THEME THE UPLOAD WAS BAD CAUSING IT NOT TO FLASH AT ALL IN RECOVERY, AND THE TWEAKED VERSION LINK WAS ALSO BAD DUE TO THE TIME I UPLOADED IT ANDROIDFILEHOST WAS UPGRADING THEIR SERVERS. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT PLEASE BARE WITH ME FOR I AM REDOING THE TWEAKED VERSION FOR THIS THEME AND ALL MY THEMES! I LOVE TWEAKED ROM AND I WILL MAKE ALL MY STUFF COMPATIBLE WITH HIS WORK. I JUST WANTED TO UPDATE ALL MY THEMES 1 ROM BASE AT A TIME. SO NOW THAT WICKED IS OUT OF THE WAY I WILL START DOING TWEAKED.

I took the link down to address parts of the theme that arent theming like they should. I should hopefully have the llink back up by the morning, and if so then I will be bringing some more themes to the threads. I just dont have this device so testing stuff is next to impossible. But check back by the am and if everything goes like I want it to it will be back up

I understand that the link is missing from the OP, but the creator of this theme does not have this device and relies entirely on testers. This is a time consuming and difficult task when you own the device, nevermind doing this blind.
Please have patience as I'm sure that when it is finished it will be uploaded and on your device.
