I'm trying to decide if I should order the HK Version now or wait a few weeks until the Korean model is available for import at the store I use.
After checking the Samsung HK website however, it seems LTE is totally absent from the HK version. Can anyone confirm?
LTE HK version will be out late Oct. or early Nov. per Samsung official press.

Hi
Does anyone know if this happened (The English, UK version, I know there was a German version) ???
Back-a-while there was info on the T-Mobile upgrade page (which is now dead) indicating that this would be available at the end of Jan 06 !
Nigel
The company I work for had a meeting with T-Mobile this week, we were told that the updated ROM which will include Push email will be available sometime next month (March) they would not give us a firm date!
Hey guys, I have 2 one x's to choose from, one a euro version with the software update and the other is a Hong Kong version without the update avaible yet. besides the update is there any discernable difference between the 2? is the update really that much better? just asking because the hk version is brand new and the euro version is slightly used but cheaper. hope someone can help! thanks
Get the euro version if you dont want to wait for updates, as euro get updates first and then the rest of the world follow. I had a HK version and got tired of waiting for update to fix my issues, went back to store I got it from and they replaced it for a euro version with update and now all issues gone.
The HK update is now available. I have 1.28.708.10 installed now.
I tested both by running several benchmarks, it seems the Hong Kong version blew away the Euro version by quite a large #. Guess it was just a slightly better device as no two are the same.
Yes my HK version got around 11000 score and then when I got the euro version it got around 9000, but after I got rid of some bloatware (mainly 7digtal) and run test got same as HK version 11000.
I would choose the eu version too, but if you are going to root and stuff it doesn't matter much

According to sammobile, countries from Germany to Malaysia had received the 4.2.2 update, the earliest from August. Why do France still not received the update? Is it that hard to release it there?

Same thing here in Canada. I know that Samsung has a reputation of being slow releasing updates but in this situation the update has been released in other regions for weeks so why the hold up?
Hi all,
Living in the land 'Down Under' and can't wait for this phone.
Looked at Harvey Norman (store) and they are offering this phone as an unlocked phone (pre-order), the model number is: SM-N930FZDAXSA
Now GSMArena say the model numbers are: Versions: N930F (Europe); N930G (India); N930V (Verizon); N930A (AT&T); N930P (Sprint); N930T (T-Mobile), N930R4 (US Cellular); N930W8 (North America)
Would love the international version (I assume it is the: N930F (Europe))
My question is....
Is the phone being offered in Harvey Norman the Europe/international version or is it just an unlocked Aussie one?
Asking for the better support for ROMs etc on this web-site.
It all about which bands each phone version has and which bands your carrier uses.
check out http://willmyphonework.net/
they may not be updated yet for all of the note 7 versions but they will
be.
Being from USA the note 5 i c g etc were all international to me. The A V P & T are domestic.
hope this helps.

I just canceled my pre-order with buymobile due to reading some really bad reviews on their company (possibly the old Mobicity, Yatango crew). The order was for an international version shipped out of Hong Kong (I would expect, same as my Note 4 was), it would have had no warranty here in Oz. I've gone the Harvey Norman route, rather have local phone with warranty and buymobile were not doing the free 256Gb MicroSD, whereas Harvey Norman are. Tried Samsung Oz but their black onyx version has sold out already. I think it's too early yet to find out about which version is best for ROMs, just going to take the chance.

The OZ one should be similar to the international variations. Also, if you can get discount gift card from harvey norman or jb hifi, then pre-order should be a good deal. I just ordered one from jb-hifi with 7.5% discounted e-gift card.
In the past the international versions were better supported (more variety) for the ROMs etc.
The international versions generally ended in F: N910F (for the Note 4)
I physically went to the store to ask, but the salesperson didn't have a clue.
I looked at their order screen and it listed the model number as SM-N930FZDAXSA
So because this model number is SM-N930F....ZDAXSA
Does this mean it will be supported by the ROMs created by and for the international versions?
The Model number on The UK Amazon site is SM-N930F...ZBADBT
Making me think the one from Harvey Norman is the base International model ?
Although I do like the Blue/Gold colouring

Hi,
I bought a Note 10 + Today in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Long story short - After a brief search online, I found the best price available on a website. It's only later when I realized that the phone is imported from Taiwan given that the Phones Model is SM-N9750.
What I found really frustrating is that some applications display the Taiwanese language. I check Sammobile for the same model and found that the only two countries supporting this particular model is Taiwan and Hong Kong. The rest of the phones from different countries have a different model number. So, is it possible for me to flash a firmware from any other country ( Preferably from USA, UK, UAE or India)? If so, which one is compatible?
Thanks
I have the N9750 (TGY/Hongkong) and it's in full French, I don't have app in Chinese.
maybe make a factory reset and reconfigure your phone in your language

Thanks. Regardless of the language. Is there any way I can flash firmware from another country? Is there any compatible ones for this model?

No Im afraid you cannot. N9750 is being sold only in two regions as far as I know. Hong Kong and Taiwan. I also have a N9750 TGY/Hong Kong. And I love it. Absolutely no bloatware, dual sim and SD855. Only con I see is its updates are slow compared to other models. No Android 10 beta or stable till date

Well, that's sad. I was hoping that it might be compatible with any firmware that running on exynos.
Not that I don't like Taiwan and Hong Kong based fw. It really is rock solid.
Here's hoping that someone might test out alternative fw for this model in the future and let us know.
Thanks.

S10+ Hong Kong version took whole one month over international model. So Im pretty sure the same formula will apply to our model aswel
I expect Android 10 update to arrive on 15 January at earliest.

I also have a 9750 (shipped with BRI, then I changed it to TGY using Samkey) and found that during the OOB setup, some app titles were in Chinese, but as long as you chose English on the very first screen, everything including those with Chinese app titles will end up being in English. As a last resort, you can do a full reset and make sure you select English on the first screen.
If you need help navigating, try using Google Translate's live camera translation from another phone to understand what is displayed on your screen (I had to do that once since my S9+ shipped already on the home screen--in Chinese.)

The Chinese government is probably vetting it to make sure there's no hidden code meant to subvert their policies and make it easier to organize pro-democracy rallies (j/k).
Taiwan model note 10 plus
@Rocks1991
Same thing here. Wondering if we can do anything to change the language.
More serious issue i am facing is that the bottom speaker doesn't work at times even after the factory reset. Does anyone face that issue? I guess i should replace the phone as this issue persists. Can i get advice on this?
