We could not identify your device, please try again in 48 hours or contact us directly. Something as such as that.
Then I try contacting the email directly and then they tell me I need to use the contact form on there site, however there is no way to get it to work as all I have is my phone and their site is poorly coded.
I have seen something about build.prop editing but am not sure what value would be acceptable...
Does anyone have a copy of files appropriate for our device? This is a legally purchased copy as found during the 25 cent sale that just passed.

Good thing it was only a quarter as there support seems to be not there to help you. I would keep trying to contact them as perhaps they may have something for you to try. Just remember you are a paying customer and they have an obligation to help you, no matter what price you got it at.
Well if I had a computer... I can't even freaking contact them... game loft is poor support.

Contacted them... automated mail, now to play the waiting game.

An update for anyone who cares: Gameloft support blows really big chunks, still trying to resolve the issue with them.

You could try editing/adding the following values in build.prop:
dalvik.vm.heapsize=96m
dalvik.vm.execution-mode=int:jit
Will try, but how will that help if it can't recognize my device... did this fix work for you, did you see it documented somewhere, what was the outcome?
Link?

So apparently something I didn't know was that the market changed the refund tikme, while I'm all for giving the devs of apps the money they deserve when they make an app, but if we download an app and it works fine first 30 minutes but gives you issues after we have know way of getting our money back

It was done in the interests of devs in order to prevent people from "renting" games, beating them in less than a day and getting their money back

That was the excuse they gave, but it doesn't explain why they didn't just apply the time limit to games instead of all apps.

That would be a good idea. I don't like the 15 min refund either. Oh well just make sure you hurry and try it out.
I wish they would have informed us. If they did well I missed it. Problem is I bought widget locker. And after using it I didn't like what it did to my phone so I went to go say nevermind I don't want it , couldn't refund so now I'm stuck with it. Meh guess its buyer beware now.
Nothing against devs but I thought that a market is aimed at customers not devs.

If the market was for devs, there would be no devs. But the big deal is when it takes longer than 15 minutes to download the add on stuff for 3d games.

Is anyone having problems purchasing apps from the market?
Disregard is working now.

but it went through and installed anyways
i had to keep buying, refund, buying, install, buying, refund, because of all the transactions problems it was having
i'll need to keep a closer look at my CC bill to make sure they did not over charge me
Yeah I did the same. Going to keep an eye on my account.

They only offered me 5gb for free. If i want 50 they are charging $20 a month
Odd, I downloaded app and signed up from it and got a message saying I get 50 gb for life. Wonder if it is dependent on device?

Yes. This was posted here before. All you have to do is backup your build.prop , change the model to one with the free 50gb, and download the box app from the market. When you set it up, you will get 50gb. I did it and it does work. I just dislike that there is no file management app for the desktop ....
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Just signed up and got 50gb! Thanks!
No problem I was stoked to see something offering a little more than drop box. The only downfall is there's no select all, still happy though either way. Can't argue with FREE!

there is an app/hack that will give you 50gb free for life even though the android and ios promos ended. I made two accounts so i have 100GB for free DD

How do you guys edit your build.prop??? more specifically WHAT do you change? and into what?
Thanks,
EDIT: do i change this? "ro.build.display.id=NAMEOFROM"
Just a warning to some of you guys. I signed up for this around 5pm today. Downloaded the app. Created a login name. Logged in and it showed 50gb free. I thought everything was great and all. 2hours later. I got a call from my credit card fraud prevention center telling me that there was a online merchants called "cloudb" tried to put a charge of $50 into my credit card. They asked me if I was doing any purchasing anything from there. I told them no. So they closed my account number and will send me a new card. I only put my email address in as a login. I don't know how they got ahold of my credit card. I didn't even have time to mess with the app yet. Maybe I was just unlucky. But just want to let you guys know what happened to me. I logged out and uninstalled that app now.

you dont need to change your build.prop
There's something like a 100mb file limit too. I thought that it might be a good choice to place backups too, but consensus says dropbox is way better in terms of service all around.
Someone said he edited his build.prop to make his phone 50gb larger. Does this mean you can edit your build.prop to install applications etc. on Box?
Sent from my SGH-T989
you dont need to edit ur build prop just sign up for box online (theyll give you 5gb then) then download the app on your phone and sign in (at which time they should give you 50gb free for life

It would take a lot of work. Modify the apk, modify the phone, then modify your ports and proxy. Still wouldn't be very safe and would have to make sure nfc beam was off. For reasoning on this point, just research why most credit cards lost their smart chips. For the lazy, a person of interest may find it a bit easier to get your credit card details if your are broadcasting it.
Now if Google incorporated a little 2 step process, Google it, then maybe it could work. Though I am sure this may prompt certain individuals to start working hard to get access to our Google ids.
For giggles, I tried first and second part. It kept crashing settings.apk. Something with the nfc trying to initialize and at random times killed my radio when trying to connect to Google. Not sure if that had something to do with TMO. Didn't bother looking into it more.
Well it is possible that way but modifying the apk will lead to problems but i just think that we take files from the galaxy nexus gsm and edit the phone like build.prop so instead we trick the apk but we might need to tweak it a little.
Ps I'm not a expert dev or a newbe im in the middle closer to newbee because I'm too scared to root my phone.

There was a TED talk in the UK where a guy sued to get the data his carrier was holding onto. They had a literal map of his life, everywhere he went, his msgs and everything....and was logged so well he was able to create a visual map of his life based on that data.
Its illegal for the provider to keep our informations , right?

A lot of things are "illegal," but unfortunately a lot of companies don't care. We'll find out for sure when somebody sues someday and somebody else gets caught with their pants down.
they could inspire a reality show with my data. ok, at least a divorce attorney.
