You can try the kernel that is included, or Mjolnir kernel. Your CM7 kernel will not work.

Did you download and flash the Mjolnir wifi modules in recovery?
FXP kernel works wonders.
FXP's "stock" CM9 kernel works fine (first time flasher (oh boy that sounds off)), I've ran into no kinks whatsoever. (Still looking for that touchpads as cursor tweak to be finalised though).
Scratch my last post about FXP kernel. Right now I'm running Doom's ICS beta kernel v3. My current rom of choice is Xdark ICS.

Anyway I'd like to try the cm9 RC2 but without a patched kernel it won't work.

Hey guys, sorry to bug you, but the hellboy kernel just went crazy on me. I'm trying to flash the MIUI rom from paarth, and it states to use the hellboy cm9 kernel. i flashed it in, and now my phone won't boot and is stuck on the htc splash screen. i see no one else having this problem though. what do?

My Arc S had sleep of death since GB and had to do a battery pull, very frequently, but turned fine on stock .587 ICS.
I've tested some custom roms and kernels, found it might related to kernels.
Mainly tested on stock .587 ICS; with 254MHz~1.4GHz, ondemand, cfq settings, no SD card.
kernels don't have SOD now:
stock .587

kernels have SOD on me:
Advanced stock
Fusion 5.5
KTG v1.52
LuPuS v16
Radeon v4.0
Vengeance kernel
I know it may be other problem related?

So my question is: What's kernel can flash in MIUI ?
I know it hard to say it, but Solid kernel ( best kernel I've tried ), AK (fine, but still problem with wakelock ) and some kernel like Neighbourhood Hacker's, Smoothcha, matr1x, Glitch, Mirage... which one can be flash without problem ? Anyone have tried it ?
