All of a sudden, while at work I turn off my phone to charge and it reboots and goes straight to download mode?? I think I read somewhere inside another topic.. does that mean the original usb cord is going bad and turned into a jig or something..?? Thank you.

Oh OK, shouldn't be bad towards the phone.. I think it is the cord.

Yep that will cause this.
I'm just sayin!
No and I think I figured it out. My 11months old baby kept playing with the cord and chewing on the tip.

There are tons of videos on you tube to show you how to repair it. You can also try a universal battery charger. I bought one from walmart for about $30.

The HTC One BARELY fits in it. Just letting you guys know. It's a real tight fit, but it does fit. kinda tough pulling it out because it's so tight. I don't have any other protection on it. After a week, it's now alot easier to put in, but still kinda hard to pull out.

Love the comment. But I don't think "she" would be saying that because unless "she" has a dong she has nothing to put in or pull out.

I have a T-Mobile note 3 and I just bought it 2 days ago and I've noticed that the phone stops charging when I move it even slightly, and the only way to make it start charging again is to bend the cable so it is straight, again from the end, also it(the cable) seems loose and look's As if it hasn't gone in fully into the charging port, because It wiggles a lot. Please help!!?

Sounds like a hardware issue. I would take it back to the store and get it replaced.
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium HD app
Could it be an issue with the cable, because I charged it using a USB 2.0 charger and it worked perfectly?

Solution, just buy a new usb cable, could not be easier than that!
You can use either a usb 3.0 cable which came with
the phone or a usb 2.0 cable, it works fine either way.
Good luck!
OK thanks guys, it turns out the clip on The plug was broken, which is why it wasnt firm when I plugged it in, but I just bought a new one and that solved the problem.
