Is there a mod that we can flash so that we can skip songs by long pressing the volume keys? I know some roms have this, but I would like to stay on stock rom and just have this.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I know its a question, but its specifically about a mod, and I have seen other people request some stuff in this section.
Would like to know aswell i had this feature on my previous phones and i loved it ..

There is an app. If you look on the first Page of zedomax's rom thread in the dev section there are links for it

If you are interested, CM10 offers that option natively, also.

i gotta say - getting your posts up and clogging up a thread is not a way to be a good member. if you have been "Doing android work" since the G1 you should know better and be able to search and read stickies.
shame on you.
This walkthrough is NOT done by me but by Mirko ddd of XDA. I've tested this method here and is proven to work!
ALL Credit Goes to Mirko ddd, CyanogenMod and AOKP! I'm just providing the write-up here for those who don't venture into the Galaxy S II forums...
See the coding on his GitHub HERE
I'll provide a more detailed write-up later....
So wheres the walk thru?

Ive been working on it. It compiles and installs ok, doesn't seem to break anything, but also doesn't work yet. I had to put it down for a bit.
Ill try again tonight but I may need to get help from someone who's better than I am at figuring this sort of thing out!
Its not been forgotten though. Just may take a while longer!
(Just didn't want to say anything before in case I can't get it working)

Hey Jamison!
How can I change the Menukiller.zip to kill apps holding the back button, instead of holding the menu button. I use the menu button to open Google Now, and while is opening it, it kill the laincher too.

Mostly because of how much you can customize. Lots of themes and mods included. My battery life has also been amazing with the stock kernel.
I think comparison threads are not allowed.... :/ all of the ROMs are good...

Dies anyone know where I can get one or is anyone interested in maybe making one?
