To unlock bootloader you have to pay to get it unlocked. Unlock-bootloader.com its about the only way.

If you have a r800x yes & r800a also...if I'm not mistaken. Its about a ten min process. Real easy.
R800X- unlocked/AOKP/4.0.4

is there another serivce you can pay for it or is this guy like the only one ? im tryin to get this done and over with but he's offline

You have to pay someone to unlock the SGS2X, there is no unlocking file that comes with the phone. No free unlocks here!
I really don't suggest getting it unlocked by Telus, they charge 50$ and might refuse, other people do it from 29$ to 20$.
I got mine unlocked from a guy on ebay for 25$.
I think it would be " How can i unlock my Galaxy SII (2) "SGH-T989" i don' think people would understand you .

Did you use the *#197...(etc) method? I believe I read somewhere in the unlock thread that if you get a flag[0] message you are indeed unlocked.

[Q] Bootloader unlock without sim unlock

I have a R800at and its rooted running gin2jellybean. I want a more authentic jb experience. However to unlock the bootloader I need to sim unlock. Is this true? If so how on earth could I unlock my bootloader on a carrier phone. I don't want to sim unlock since it is illegal.
Id like to do both its my play I payed for it I should be able to use it as I please

Does sim unlock= ability to unlock boot loader???

Hi all
So, I have a orange UK locked xperia s, because of this my bootloader is locked!
If I was too unlock my phones sim card to all networks would I then be able to unlock my phones bootloader?
That's the question...
Its puzzling me...
