Anyone try using an alternative launcher on their ET4G? Curious to see if there are any hiccups with switching on this device.
I dont have it yet but qqluncher pro is pretty nice... I've ben using it on my epic witht the iphoneish theme and its pretty simlar to miui... I like it and bettery didn't seem to change switching from lp to that so I'm sure it wouldn't effect the touch

I'm 50/50 runnign either Touchwiz or Go Launcher Ex.

Same, I've used many different launchers on my Inspire and always ended up going back to LP Pro Plus sooner or later.. but I'm using TW4 for now and it's not too bad.

Yup looks like it...I'm back and forth from adw ex and spb...not sure what to go with yet...i like adw because you can add rows and columns which really gives you alot of room on this screen. Might be able to do it with others as well..

You are not alone on this one......I think those against it don't want to pay....if it were free it may be the hottest launcher
I use ADW and when set to the fast preset, this phone absolutely flies.

I've used it on every phone I've had recently. It rocks on our ET! Using some of the TW4 Widgets in combination really improves the overall feel of things!
the touchwiz ripped from the galaxy s III is pretty cool and a lot better then the stock one on our phone! i would use it for more then the one day if it work with the DPI @ 160 >.< .... what do you guys think do you use it? have you used anything else from the galaxy s III?

It's got cool animations. A ics style app drawer.. folders... I think it looks better than tw4 since our screen is pretty damn big.

considering the fact that the gs3 is being launced with ICS, yes, you need ICS.

I downloaded the 4*5 one. I didn't flash, I put the lib file in system/lib and copied the system/app files, fixed permissions and reboot. I needed to make a bit of room in 'system' and I wouldn't bother trying calendar as op says it forcecloses. Launcher runs silky smooth though - my new favorite.
Not much of a TWiz fan. I've at one time swore by GoLauncher. As it got more bloated, it somewhat made my (previous) phones slow to a crawl. I decided to move away from it. Holo(HD) seemed to cover all the aspects that I needed in a Launcher. I've recently took a liking to 'Atom' Launcher very much.
What about you guys? Is everyone on Apex?

I use ilauncher and change the icons to cm10 jb styled icons.
Simply because the transition/resumes are smoother than any launcher to date. Just like iOS.

It's pricey at $15 for an app, but hands down the best launcher I've used to date. I also was a GoLauncher fan, but it literally killed my wifes phone, and the search for a replacement led here. It has very cool features and built in widgets.

To be honest i can't even decide on one. They are all awesome. However, i have ADWLauncher EX running now. The reason i am using it because i like their presets. There is one called Fast.... and OMG.... when i click on the drawer it shows up instantly and its SUPER smooth.... scrolling up and down ect.
Other then that im a Holo Launcher on my GN and my TFP
I like to use Nova

I like Nova the most, but Apex is also really good. I switched to Nova during the $.25 sale. I love it... Overlapping widgs ftw! Especially since Bob clock uses up so much space.

I just installed the new ADW launcher. It's very different from what it used to me. Its good to see the DEV didn't abandon it for good.

Nova has been my boy for awhile now. I was using cm9 trebuchet launcher for the longest time but scrolling dock and homescreen backup were too good to turn down. Love it.

Haha I don't sleep too excessively. That app is really useful though. If you want to know the times to wake up and won't feel tired, it will tell you. I think the times it displays are times that you won't wake up during a REM cycle. If you happen to, that's why you wake up tired alot.
