Cyanogen MOD for Galaxy Y

Is there any Cyanogen Mod available for Samsung galaxy Y . Presently I am running on Creed ROM V2.0 . I found the Creed ROM V2.1 very buggy . Creed V2.0 is seriously awsome . But is there any CM available for SGY ?
And another thing is it possible to install some ICS widgets and certain features liek the ICS Music player into the Creed ROM or any other custom ROM ?
Mr.Creed - please let me know if possible .

seem u had planned to creat CM7 for SGY..i was read your post

He is also working on cm but prioritized the kernel and cwm. Cm' would not function great w/o a good custom kernel

yup...i agree with mushashi...motafaca is still in progress as to make a stable kernel in preparetion to create CM...hope the research would be successful...

there are two more working for CM7 and one for ICS sit back and relax

you can try browsing romfory.com, they claim that they have working ports, i havent tried though

You are out of topic in this thread buddy but yes, you need to have the temporary cwm to flash Creed's Rom.

One of my friend has SGY and he`s SGY is rooted ...but dont have CWM Recovery (Permanent).
so my question is how to get permanent CWM Recovery...link as well as small guideline is appreciate.....thnx..!

Permanent cmw is only available in merruks kernel.. It's not final yet.. Still has some bugs..
Cmw can be flashed from stock recovery so no need of permanent one.?

Yeah,But it still has some bugs..you cant flash any custom rom after flashing the kernel..a2sd darktremor doesnt fully work etc..
Merruk is now uploading a new kernel so cant wait to get hold of it!!

in that case he/she will stick on the non-built.in CWM but for me better stick on stock rom and downloads ICON PACKS and LAUNCHER and merruk kernel with andrenaline script/tweaks so my mobile wont lag even i reach 200+ Ram

How to get back my original ROM?

I jus flashed my HTC WFS n installed ICS 4.0.4,its Bloody F****** ROM,
I faced many problems like,
cam not wrkng,
V.Low Battery backup,
At the time of charging its getting heated...
And,
I could not get all the official sense widgets... So, I would like to get back my HTC WFS with the original rom that I got when I unboxed my phone.....
Plz hlp me....

Calm down, No need to rage!
CM9 by modpunk is the best ICS ROM for our phone.
if you don't like it, you shouldn't have installed. All the bugs are clearly mentioned there.
About CAM: Camera is perfectly working in RC1. Some performance issues are there but they are awaiting Drivers.
Battery? I get 12 hours of battery on ICS. Which is way better than what i used to get in sense. Check your configurations.
Heating problem? It is with every wildfire. Check your overclock settings for that.
CM9 and all ICS ROMS are senseless ROMs. If you are looking for sense widgets in them you are making a fool of yourself.

P.S. Next time you flash a custom ROM please read disclaimer and Bug list so you don't end up raging on devs.
Also if you have Stock nandroid backup you can use that.

It is, just not in usual way. To record video, you have to use IgCamera app and to play it, you have to use some external player with it's own codecs like MX Player.

Thats not a ROM. Thats a guide to how to revert back to original state. You will find stock rom in index. Download whichever suits you.

Google Play has nothing to do with cm9. Download latest gapps for ICS and flash them. It works quite well for me.

For me CM9 RC2 is best under all circumstates. No problems at all with it and with my personal undervolting kernel I only have to recharge it every few days. A ROM doesn´t have to be bad just because its older. The differences in CM10 are just a few nice animations and a few more options supported I don´t really need.
But this is just my personal opinion, so like already said try them and decide yourself which one is best for you.
If you want to have best support for games, go with CM10 but if stability is more important for you, use CM9 and if battery is important too, use CM9 RC2 or RC3 or any custom ROM basing on these two.

Why you dont try touchwi5 rom by ipromeh.
I am quite comfortable with the performance and battery life of this rom.

After flashing CWM Recovery launch it and make a backup of your orginal rom. After doing this flash the rom you want to try. This way you always can roll back to your orginal samsung rom.

Sometimes, first boot will take long time. But you can try to Full Wipe(data, cache, dalvik) your phone again via CWM, then reboot.
If doesnt work, try to fixing permission via cwm. I dont know what is that for, but it doesnt hurt to try.

Usually no need to do a full whipe because you are just replacing the stock recovery with CWM recovery. The rom itself says untouched and should reboot normally. But if it´s hanging after flashing CWM, turn off your phone and restart by launching the recovery with the button combination to see CWM was succesfully flashed or not. When it boots into CWM restart it again and see if its still hanging. Should it still hang, go again to CWM recovery, whipe cache, dalvik cache, fix permissions and reboot.

One of a kind was so good at all, But the appearance is not so attractive. So I used touchwi5 build 3 for S4 fells.
I think not much differences between OOAK, Touchwi3 and Touchwi5. Because they developed by same developer.
The conclusion is, try OOAK for performance if you don't really care about the appearance. :thumbup:

I think not much differences between OOAK, Touchwi3 and Touchwi5. Because they developed by same developer.

[q] htc desire hd [oxygen rom]

I have htc desire hd after soo many sleepless nights i was able to root it and tried few roms (android revolution cm11 cm10.1 soo on) finally oxygen rom suits me . I want to know details about this kernel thing.Am attaching screenshot of my phone .What exactly this kernel is and which will be the best kernel for my phone ???
Before rooting my phone battery back up was 3hours max with using wifi or mobile data but after flashing this rom am getting around 6 to7 hours backup .
help me out whats best for my phone

You can try svhd rom new android(4.0.4)new kernel,new sense 4.1 and is better for battery life.

am downloading it anyway ...All i want a is bettery backup nothing else because my stock rom sucks big time only 2 to 3 hours battery backup . Oxygen is okay i can live with it .

SVHD rom was cool i tried but after few hours facing phone hang problem it stuck suddenly then i have to pull out the battery
am download blackout rom ..
if u know any other good rom let me know

I can tell you who is better becouse is custom rom.
I try meny roms but for me soul rom is better,you can try z74 is the last version improve battery and kernel and is in english.You have link up.

and now am flashing svhd again am facing the same problem after installation screen goes black what to do ? **** mood pissed help me out man

You need to full wipe an then flash new rom,do you have s-on?If you have you need to flash boot img.

dude i flash your soul rom n i loved it i made up my mind to have it then after few minutes its disconnecting from charging or usb ....when i switch off my phone then i can charge but when i charged when its open its discharging not able to connect to pc too any solution for that ?
