hey guys, as many of you who frequent my ukb thread know, i will be bringing a variant of our Team Venom ViperRom to the inc 2 and inc s (and it will probably serve as the base for viperRom on other msm7x30 devices)
I need about 10 beta testers for the inc2 (beta testing is a general requirement for viper roms to put out the best product possible)
Requirements:
proficient with adb/logcat
ability to give solid feedback for beta test roms
agrees not to share links/roms with non beta testers
has spent a decent amount of time on sense4 roms on this device already and have familiarity with them
is someone familiar to this forum...ie you dont have 10 posts and joined last month
just reply in this thread if interested...ill contact those i select by tuesday/wednesday and announce in this thread when ive done that...no hard feelings if you arent selected! rom will be available to all soon enough :silly:

I'm your man!!! I got all those skills and more.. I can give full detailed explanations of certain situations and even video if it can't be reproduced on another person's device.. Logcat? Got that!! HIT ME UP MAN!! I would love to be a tester for you sir!!!! Also note, sometimes my phone is very picky about certain things, saying that, I take it as meaning if it works 100% on my phone, it will work perfect on others.. My phone can be very finicky ... I would love to be involved in this venture!
You know I'm in Nits.....

Would be glad to test out rom an have plently of time i work nights.
I work a lot but I'm up all night usually, I'll be a tester for you if more qualified people don't, I can adb / logcat , and have windows/Linux at home. Also I think your work is amazing and would love to help out in any way I can

I will help with the beta. I know my way around ADB and how to use LogCat. But, I am still learning here and there.

If the Beta testing is supposed to begin late next week then count me in. I say that specifically as my phone is currently unusable until I replace the screen with a working LCD... which will probably take till Wednesday. So, if Beta testing needs to start before that, I'm sorry I can't help!
When the DiX comes out, there's going to be a rom called viperDIX

Other than TSM Parts its pretty much just plain a vanilla build. Think thats why I like it so much, has just the right amount of features.

is there a way to get rid of the startup music?
I am using this ROM since 1.1
It is free of bugs, very fast and the best for me is, that it is very near to stock. No masses of unneeded features/options added.
Just what you really need from a ROM, everything else might be changed by apps or other packages.

Hey all,
I'm going to be joining this community in the next week or so as I'm moving from Vivid to the One X. Can't wait!
I've been reading about some of the ROMS for One X.
Please correct me if I'm wrong about the following information I've gathered about this phone so far:
HOX doesn't have S-OFF yet
There are no Jellybean AND Sense ROMs yet
There is no equivalent of "LeeDroid/Darkforst tweaks" for HOX yet
If these things are all true, what is "the best" ROM to install for being able to tweak and control things, great battery life, and great stability?
I'm thinking ARHD or InsertCoin sound like the best contender for me for now for stability. Thoughts?
Leedroid tweaks were originally developed by Jan I believe and his team have their rom ViperX with more customizations than you will ever need.
As for jb and sense, until htc releases it, no we don't.

First time on Jelly Bean TouchWiz? You MUST do a one-click Odin of TouchWiz 4.1.2 on your phone first to correctly partition it.-here
NEWBIES, STOP AND READ THIS FIRST!!! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=35539014#post35539014
1. Download full ROM, verify MD5 checksum and copy to phone SD storage.
2. Download and copy Jellybean X2 Format utility to SD storage: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2077277
3. Install EL26 (Chris41G) kernel or EL29 Directboot kernel.
They can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1662295
( Look for: GB - Stock EL26 Repacked Kernel or GB - Direct Boot CWM )
Note: For success, EL26 & EL29 kernels are recommended for flashing this rom!
4. Reboot into recovery, flash JB X2 Format then the ROM. You may flash a JB modem at this point if you like (required to run JB), but no other mods until ROM has fully booted the first time. Clean flash only if you're not coming from a previous version of this ROM! (Don't even ask cuz I'll flip on you for not reading the OP, this is highly modified and will not mesh well with other TW ROMs or AOSP.)
***Note- EL29 cannot flash modems- however, you can always flash it after the ROM boots with the built-in recovery***
5. Let ROM boot fully and settle for a couple of minutes during the initial boot. (It will take around 10 minutes)
6. Setup, then try out the features and debloat to your liking. It's recommended for performance's sake.

Well done sir!!!
dl now. If it's anything like Project X there will be no doubt it will be an excellent rom.
I screwed up the status bar guys (Not themeable with 3Minit), just flash the AIO full version to fix it if you have already downloaded, if not I'm uploading a fixed version now.

This is our official Rom for all HTC One M8 variants. We have tested over 300 builds and believe the Rom to be relatively bug free.

Please check with us before you flash anything on top of this Rom. Some HTC apks can not be decompiled with apktool without throwing performance and other errors. We used an alternate method to modify these apks.
