Hello! A friend who lives in the U.S. bought a AT&T Lumia 900 for me. But on startup it asks for the PUK code. How to disable the code. I live in Kinshasa (DR Congo). Someone can help me? Thanks
I believe you call your provider for the PUK code since I'm fairly positive it's tied to your particular SIM card.

The PUK is a network code - you need to speak to you network so they cab provide you with the code.
The phone is stolentho. There is no way I can Hack A PUK number?

Hi guys, I hope you guys have a tool where I could find out the PUK code of my blocked sim. I'm in the Philippines and using a prepaid sim and I lost the card where the PUK is placed as well.. Our Network Provider can not give the PUK code for prepaid subscribers. I hope you could help me out on this as I badly need the number itself. thanks!
Sorry mate, we deal only with the phones here, NOT sims...
Customer Service SHOULD have the PUK codes for your sim. Doenst matter if you are prepaid or not. Now if it says SIM BLOCKED, you are outta luck, theres no way to unlock it from there.
It does actually matter black_joker. T-mobile here in the uk use randomly generated puk codes for sims and they also cannot provide a puk code for your sim if you have lost the card that came with it.
Really? Hmm. I never knew that. Now I'm interested. Will definately have to look into that one now.

I've just got the same problem with my phone. And I think the only solution is to get a new SIM with the same number from your Network Provider.
Yes... at the moment. I've actually been working on it. Out of 10 PUK Locked Sims, I managed to unlock 2. Hope to have it perfected here soon. Wish me luck!

Just a couple of months ago I got my lumia 900 as a gift.. However it was AT&T SIM Locked.
Checking through some forums and combing through the internet I found out that the PIN Code given by AT&T sometimes didn't work when requested for the PIN code but instead when PUK Code was asked.
I must sadly say, I tried using my given pin code for my PUK including my current network's simPUK code but all failed.
Now I have no attempts and I cannot seem to enter the PIN Code given not even the PUK code..
Can someone please let me know a simpler way to unlock this phone? I have software flashed numerous times but the PUK or PIN code isn't resetting.. Please do let me know!

i have the same problem , got this phone for a year, but can't use it i have the unlock code but ran out of puk codes and i went to AT&T but because im not a att customer they didn't help me, Please if anyone knows guide us

I've bought an Lumia 900 "UNLOCKED" from a seller store at Ebay, in USA.
It's a gift for a friend that lives in Brazil.
Im here at Brazil now, and when I input the non att sim card, it opens a screen asking for PIN (Im already at PUK with 10 tries left.) It says: "This SIM card can only be used on specific networks and it's blocked. Contact your customer service center for he unblock code.
I've called to TIM, tried the SIM PIN and PUK codes. And I've got the unlock code from the Lumia seller and another ebay seller
wich was: 5947**** <> They said this is the same code for any Lumia.
It didn't work, even with the workout.
The IMEI was correct.
Then, I updated the phone to the last update avaliable,
and Nothing!!
The seller told me that him contacted ATT and the phone wasn't in blacklist.
I don't have any* idea of what to do next.

I bought a verizon phone to use on AT&T and trying to buy unlock code online but when I insert AT&T sim card it never ask for unlock code but an error message to call Verizon and invalid sim.

All verzion phones are unlocked from factory only phones that ask for a unlock code aee pixels
I think that has changed to prevent theft. They are locked but Verizon will unlock them after a short period upon request.
