Okay, at first i thought it was the custom ROM i was running, but I've tried both Blazer and FreeGS3, as well as going back to stock, but i can't get Netflix to work. Oh, the app loads, but i can't log in to use it because no text shows when i try to type my login info.
The second problem is that there are a few websites that i can't access from my GS3, but work fine from my GS2. The 3 clearly isn't handling some cookie or other security setting properly, preventing logins on these particular sites, but I'll be darned if i can figure out how to fix it.
Edit... I have found these sites work with Opera as the browser. Opera asks for a security exception but the other browsers (stock, Firefox, Dolphin) don't, despite setting being the same as far as i can tell.
Netflix still doesn't work, though.
Any ideas?

I am new to the site, I have been using it to learn a lot, I love it. I have one complaint, the sites pages continually refresh. Usually I have several tabs open most of which are Xda and the continued refreshing is slowing everything down.
Just a note I have a hard lined win7 PC, a Mac book pro, and a Win7 laptop all of which have FF and Crome the Mac has Safari and both PC's have IE I have checked all browsers and all three computers, this refreshes nearly continually on every thing. Is there anything I can do to stop this on my end, its really irritating.
I would like some feedback on this too as it is REALLY irritating. Especially on the phone because the address bar keeps coming up and interfering with reading of Xda threads. Most of the time I get so frustrated with it I just say forget it and wait until I can view on my computer.
I assume it has to do with the ad's regenerating or something??
Any way to turn it off or something?
+1
all this refreshing when browsing from work is not a good thing either.
I am experiencing the same problem of refreshing, but also my XDA tab(s) crash and restarts itself. I can't really search, post, or do much with this site since it keeps refreshing and crashing. I have Windows 7 (64-bit) using IE 8.
my guess is that it has something to do with the ads. im using google chrome with the extension "adblock" installed and i am not experiencing this issue. however, when i use firefox (which does not have any adblocking plug in installed) the pages seem to refresh every so often.

I only have the issue on my Nexus 7. When I view the site from my PCs it seems to work fine, but from my tab its horrible with the refreshing.
Hallo,
Is somebody using AirDroid?
The very first time I tryed it on the GN it worked all very well.
Now I was trying to put some pictures on my phone but it appears that AirDroid can't recognize my phone or something. It doesn't show the battery % for example. And when selecting "files" it just tells me "errror loading folder undefined".
Did somebody else have this?
I've been using AirDroid pretty regularly for the last week or so and I haven't had any problems with it so far with the exception of some minor connectivity issues once in awhile.

I have no idea why it stopped working.
that's what it looks like to me: http://oi42.tinypic.com/1zwkrxj.jpg
Have you tried clearing app data and/or reinstalling?
Yes, both. Still same problem.
I had the same issue with files you describe in Firefox, and it worked in Chrome. I assumed it had something to do w/ my use of NoScript, as I'll have issues with sites sometimes despite everything on the page being whitelisted, but in any case you might give that a shot if you are in fact using Firefox.

I am using Chrome as well. OP should definitely try a different browser.
Yes, I'm using Firefox. But the only addon I am using that prevends AirDroid from working could be Adblock.
I try another browser but if Firefox really is the problem I'm not going to switch.
Because it sure seems like it... I can get on most major websites (XDA, Google, youtube, Facebook, etc) just fine on my phone, but when I go to (nsfw alert!) xvideos.com and load a video there, or even on serebii.net it turns up as http error 504. However if I use wi-fi I can view these sites just fine.
Did T-mobile end up shafting us with this filter, or is this something I can correct? I've tried disabling everything related to knox (all six of the apps that appear when you search Titanium Backup for knox) and restarting, no dice.
EDIT: I've just tried wi-fi tethering with my note 3, and going to serebii.net still gives a error 504 timeout.
EDIT #2. Oh yeah, forgot to mention this is a stock firmware with root, knox warranty 0x1, with TWRP recovery installed. justin case there is or isn't an update released since Oct. 2nd to now, my baseband version is N900TUVUBMI7
Serebii probably isn't working cause even on wifi and 4G lte, it won't load. X videos works fine either way for me.

If you have AdAway or some other ad blocking system on your phone, I've seen some sites blocked when they are prefaced with an ad site, but other than that I've not seen any blocking.
I have the same concern I cannot seem to load any flash videos from no sites ?? Did you find a fix

Flash? What browser are you using. Flash is not supported by most now and you have to add flash to those that support it.
I meant to say the player the browser uses not sure if its flash but it just wont play any internet videos at all like before

Ahhh, big screen bieng used for noble purposes!
Theres no filter... I would delete Ad Away if you have it and install AdFree, then give it a go. It can also be due to all those sights bieng chock full of advertisements the TMO signal in your area just isnt good enough. Its going to try to load more then the other sights, and thats where 504 timeout errors can occur if page does not load in time properly.
run a traceroute on the phone on and off wifi to sites with the issue and see where it falters. You can also check ping, but check routing first. Use the apps on playstore with same name its TraceRoute & TracePing.
Okay. I'll be sure to give it a go tomorrow, for I have to work soon.. and yeah nowadays serebii.net is working again. Also my ad blocker is simply called AdBlock.

All I know is, its working just dandy on jedi rom & I havent had any issues with it. It replaced AdAway which Im sure theres a good reason for... west have you done the ping and trace tests yet? 504 is generally a time out issue so, give it a shot on wifi & also on tmos network. and how many bars do you have in area your trying it in?
No I have not tried those yet but I can assure that when I do try to load any sort of video on the stock browser or chrome or any browser I download I get the error timeout which is unusual . I'm on stock non rooted so don't know what the issue is I will run those test . By the way are you all having the prevention information notification, for some reason I believe it's that what is triggering the whole filtering

It's your ad blocker. I know adfree from bigtincan was down for a while, but it's working now, adaway and root toolbox causes too many problems.

Oh, and one more suggestion, quit watching porn and try to get real *****. Lol
I'm currently using jlmancuso's Community ROM 3.2+.
A few places I frequent have free WiFi, but to use them, you need to accept their terms and conditions which is done via the browser. My problem is that this page never appears, so I can't accept their terms, and I can't use their WiFi.
My current solution is to find the URL of their login page from someone else's device, type it into mine, and bookmark it for use later. But I'd rather just have the page appear automatically as it should.
I *think* it has something to do with the Sprint Connection Optimizer, but I'm not sure.
If you connect to it then try going to any web page it should take you to the free access login page.

That's the problem. The login page never appears. All I see is a message telling me that I have no internet access - actually, I think it says "<insert address here> is taking too long to respond."
And I know it's not a problem with the access point itself, because the wife's S4 connects to it without issue.
I've also tried clearing the cache and data for "Internet" (which erased my bookmarks - wish I had remembered that would happen - grrr) to no avail.
I think I will try installing a different browser - probably Chrome.
I've done NOTHING to my phone since posting this question - same ROM, same browser, everything - and now it's working as expected. I've no explanation.
My work offers guest WiFi this happens to some people try typing 8.8.8.8 into the browser that always tigers our page and is easier than remembering the real url

Looks like an internet issue from your end. The page isn't loading correctly. We've had no issues like that over the past few days.
Is this still happening?
