Okay so I currently own an HTC Rezound. I use it as a personal phone, the usual internet, talk, text, games etc. I want a phone that I can flash roms to and mess around with. I was looking at a GNex (cdma) to be that device. Does anyone know where I can get a Galaxy Nexus (CDMA) pretty cheap? < $425 Thanks!
Locally (craigslist, classifieds). I've seen them go for $250 new in box on ksl.com (local classifieds here, nobody uses craigslist in Utah).
Online (retailers and eBay) will cost you well over $500.

Eww just sell the HTC Rezound or try to get someone to trade for a Galaxy Nexus. You won't even look at the Rezound once you get your hands on this beauty.
Drop that sloppy brick of a device on someone who doesn't know a thing about audio and actually thinks "beats"=quality lmao
Where are you from? I have a guy locally who has just about every Verizon phone brand new sealed and all. I got mine for $430 from him and he has the razr for $400.

U can do roms and all of other things you said with the rezound. I have one too. If it wasn't cause battery is so crappy on rezound no matter what rom kernel I use. I'll be using the rezound. Love beats audio

If you call retentions, more than likely they'll take care of you. If you're out of contract retentions entire job is to keep you from leaving. The way they could handle this situation is more or less set it up in the system as if you were going to cancel, but locked into another contract... more or less, as if you had cancelled, then signed up as a new customer. In fact, that might be how they'd do it.
Give them a call and try.
Here's a direct, ZERO wait time Sprint retentions hotline number: 866-881-9571

Rethink that. Sprints version of the galaxy nexus is not supported by Google. The sprint version is code named the toroplus, look it up. Good development community though

I'm not sure that device is any better than what we have now, in fact it might be worse.
I know ICS runs better on it. Smoother In my opinion. My wife has one. I talked to Samsung this morning and according to them Sprint is hustling Epic owners about a bug fix update. The Samsung Supervisor even said it was never recommended that Sprint push the update. She said no update is in the works for this model. The funny thing about it is Samsung says there call lines are flooded with Epic owners having issues and Sprint tells me there are not any problems and I need to take out insurance. That will be a cold day in Hell!

So, I saw a girl write on Facebook that she is selling a T Mobile Galaxy S3. So I inboxed her and ask how much she wanted. She told me to make an offer, so I said I wouldn't pay any more than $300. Then she asked me would I pay $220? I told her yes!!!! Says its brand new used since June comes with box booklets etc and flawless condition! Did I just hit jackpot? Is the phone worth it? Anything I should "lookout" for? I'm a galaxy nexus owner by the way guys!!!

Hopefully she isnt scamming you by selling her phone, reporting it stolen, having TMo blackball your phone rendering it useless, using insurance to replace her 'stolen' phone and pocketing the leftover cash.
Other than that you did good!

Ask her for the IMEI number so you can verify everything is in order with TMo, if she still has it. Than call TMo and ask them to tell you if everything is good with that phone, and have them document it in your account that you called.

Since you told her they are going for 300(which is really cheap to start with for a s3) and she offered you 220 for it, seems too good to be true.
But if everything checks out OK with the imei then yes you scored big time.
But make sure you get pictures over the device. I've ran into so many scams on Craigslist that it wouldn't surprise me if they migrated to Facebook.
My advice, proceed with caution
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
Either she's pulling a fast one in you if she's beyond stupid. You offered $300 but she only wants $220? What? Like everyone else said, verify the IMEI before you give her a single cent.

Does she lives near you? If so meet at T-Mobile and transfer the phone to your account on the spot.

I appreciate the replies guys. Honestly I think shes just a clueless teenage girl that has no idea how much its worth. Notice her spelling. She's about 18 years old I'm sure, and she's just switching carriers, I really doubt there's any fishy stuff going on, but I will see if she meets me at the T-Mobile store in our local mall. I don't wanna go there and have the people say something like "your selling it for only 220, that's unfair!" And blow everything up in my face :/ I wont be using the phone as my daily driver but I will switch from galaxy nexus to s3 every few days ^_^

So I'm thinking of buying a Used GS3 or Nexus 4. Since the GS3 has expandable memory that's what I'm leaning towards.
Anyway, what kind of things should I ask/look for when getting a used GS3 other than scratches and cracks?
The best and safest thing you can do is meet the seller at a Tmobile retail store. Have an employee check the status of the phone. They can even make a note that the phone has been sold and the original owner cannot report it stolen or lost.

I bought and returned 3 Nexus 7s early on because of problems like the screen lift so it's why I ask.
I also saw that some Nexus 4s had some back glass lift problems and the HTC One has some separation/cracking issues.
I don't think I've read anything about the Samsung phones though other than the plasticky feel.
I was checking out the T-Mobiles' web site and saw that there is NO other versions of the S3 only the LTE variant that just came out.
Found this interesting not sure if other knew about this or ?
I had spoken to them as I just purchased my S3 in Jan and was told I could do a trade in and $150.00 out of pocket... No thanks ....
Correct. The T999L is replacing the T999 across the board. No reason to sell the old one anymore.
