Clark44, the dev of the ROM, said that he might update. It all depends on his time, he's a full time student.
You can flash the update from Freeza over the ROM, but you also need to flash "Revert to LF9 Universal Search" found in the OP to have the full google search. Read the thread and see what has been reported...

Is it possible? absolutely. Anything is possible if you have the means and know how.
The real question is had anyone figured it out yet? I don't believe anyone has. For now tw features such as motion and s beam only work on tw roms. All this is to my knowledge (which could be wrong).

so in future builds of customs roms like aokp or cm10 will we see these features added for the s3?
That is a possibility but it is quite unlikely unless Google standardizes some sort of s beam on their nexus phones.
I believe the cm's goal is to stay be stable and up to date. With the sight account of time that takes i doubt it'll happen till Google makes it happen

An add on to this. As I am new to this phone as well. Came over from the Photon. Do any of the TW ROM's have OC kernels? I've been looking through and am still trying to learn all the S3 terminology

Nice thread hi-hack
But yes, there is OC kernels available, and I believe a few of the ROM's have them included.

Any ROM that is touchwiz based will have these features. These features are written into the touchwiz framework and won't be in any AOSP based builds (CM10, AOKP, etc) soon. They would have to be completely rewritten which isn't an attractive option for most developers.

I tried to keep it mostly related. I'll look a little further for a TW rom with OC kernel.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to find all of 4.2.x features on TW Roms. But, a lot of TW Roms have similar features. I know that some of the more popular TW Roms here in the d2spr section are (in no particular order):
MOAR (Mother Of All Roms)
The People's Rom (TPR)
Goodness Reborn
JellyBomb
Wicked Sensations
Honestly, you can stroll through the Sprint Galaxy S III Android Development Section and if you see an "MB1" or "MC3" or "TW" in the title, you can check it out. Most are really good and have options for excellent battery life.
I personally enjoy AOSP 4.2.2 Roms (Currently on Liquidsmooth v2.2) and the extra features of TW (MultiWindow, motions, etc) aren't enough to keep me there. But I fully understand that my experience does not encompass everyone's preferences, so I keep my eye on the TW Roms and will flash them every once in a while to see what's what.
Try the peoples rom

CleanROM if you want a very minimized but very fast/smooth and stable stock experience.
SkyNote for a fast/smooth experience while having lots of customization options (clock, notification bar transparency, hold back to kill, etc.) Jedi Rom is also great for customization as well.
jedi, clean, skynote, one of the miui, novella, ultimate, amospherium, hawkish, clearn rom SE, the list goes on and on when it comes to touchwiz based roms..there are even more than the ones I listed..
Ive actually heard of those but I havent flashed all of them. Im actuay hopeing to find a touch wiz rom that has a good bit of customizing
