Both are Good Enough. It depends on your taste.
I am more comfortable with sabsa prime.
So You flash both the ROM and feel the difference.
I think trickdroid with venom fix is faster than sabsa and that's the thing I want

Installed Sabsa 6 about 48 hrs ago. Took about 30 mins to settle down, but now it's nice and smooth. Great battery life now, after removing the HTC Sense account, am using only 4ma on standby.
It's almost like having a new phone. Love it
Trickdroid with virtuous 3.0.43 kernal works great no battery issues

I'm on Sabsa v6.5 now. It's nice and smooth, as far as I can tell. Had some problems with the weather widget but I could fix it - thanks to Rat.NL!Haven't tried TrickDroid so far. Just noticed there's a change log in the second post that mentions v3.0.0 but I can't find a download link. The one in the OP leads to trickdroid.org where I can only find v2.0.0. Does anyone know where to get v3? I'd really like to try this one.
I'm waiting trickdroid 3 to test.

Hi guys,
I need to know which DHD rom will be the fastest and most reliable for my desire, at the moment I'm using ownhere's desire HD rom but it is a bit laggy and chews battery.
Thanks in advance
I'm stuck on Cool Sense HD v7 (link see my sig - v7 is released as beta later in the thread). It's as fast as any stock froyo and works absolutely stable for me. Will never go back to sense1...
InsertCoin 1.9.1 is damn fast, never had lags, battery life is around 24-36hrs on medium usage.
I'm using iNsertCoin 1.8h and it's very good.
I'm using RCMixHD v3.0 a2sd+.
This one is very fast and stable.
I've already used this for over one week and no any problem!

Seriously a whole day worth of use, I'm going to have to try this one.

I will never go back to sense 1 either, I'll try it. Apparently I was running an older version of ownheredesirehd so I updated it and have no more lag issues, I consistently get around 2600 on benchmark now

Try Nik Project, Primo S and I don't know what about sabsa Prime

Sabsa Prime is smooth, but sometimes slow. Anyway it is remarkable for functionality, battery life, and stability, so it deserves patience when it slows down sometimes. But most of the time it rocks. I am currently using it.
:good:
I am currently running Sabsa Prime and it is perfect, very rarely get any lag
Prior to this I was running Blackout which again was an excellent ROM but I believe it is not sense 4/4A

The lag is not given by the ROM itself in my case, but by the applications I am running. Soryy but I forgot to mention that.
And yes, I had Blackout too before Sabsa Prime and I agree it was fine :good: but Sense version was lower, not 4.x

you could use also rctweaks, i hear they work on sense 4 roms, but im not sure, then v6 supercharger works also

I generally find the Sense 4 roms I have tested become laggy after a few days use or sooner, anyone found anything different? I have not tried Sense 3.6 roms or a newer Sense 4 rom for a few weeks. I wanted to try the latest Viper release but some have reported it gets quite laggy after a while.
Nothing worse than typing a message and having to wait for the text to catch up!

I have been using Sabsa Prime v9.0 for quite some time. It has yet to become laggy and the battery is fantastic.I just recently upgraded to v10 and it is even better.

True that, the sense 4 roms have this issue due to the better graphic performance the rom gets a little slower. I used Viper and that rom is a mess for the time being, where as, the sense 3.6 roms are very very fast but even then i mentioned above if u are a non-sense rom user then u are going to find sense roms a little slower comparatively

viper or SABSA for sure ...
Anyone find the latest Viper release sluggish like the previous releases. I tried running their earlier releases and found they lag after a day or two. I guess Sense 4 roms are pretty hard on our DHDs resources.

Its note bout the ROM. Sabsa gives me best battery life compared to aoskp/cm rom that i've tried. For Sabsa v12, from my the rom thread discussion, most of them say the culprit is the kernel alirez use for that version.
I switch back to v11 and my battery life is good. Or our fren might want try to revert to the previous kernel version 3.0.56 or 55.

Another vote on ViperDHD, for me, it is in everyday-use, can't say too much bad things, it is rarely laggy a little bit when rotating lock- and homescreens to landscape, but apart from that, very-very good. Trust us, as we are using the ROM :good:
