There seems to be couple of jb roms here , which one seems to be most popular here for daily driver.

You should try them out and see. What works for others might not work for you and visa versa.

im using aokp build2 at the moment....jb unofficial rom....
i might try cm10kang again n compare, basically for my own personal opinion
The nightlies are more than stable. Use one of the NS4G kernels to go with it and you have a supercharged Epic!

Just moved from the epic 4g touch and lovef thr ics offered over there. Ive read and read but I gotta know. Which ics ROM has the least bugs, most functionality and the less errors, even on a beta,or early stage. I need users oponions from actually using the software. Thank you guys very much!!

Welcome! I'm using nexusmod ICS and loving it so far. It's been almost one week. Good battery life, very smooth. There are some minor bugs but it has become my daily driver so nothing critical.

Does the camera work good as well.as video record? Just needing to know the cons if possible. Thank u for the response.

Follow carefully the instructions! Each step is important.

They all have call echo and other minor bugs. Great Rom's but I need more stability.

Use the super wipe and then let rom sit for 10 minutes after boot up. And for apps I recommend apex launcher for more of an aosp feel also grab the HD YouTube here on xda just search u will find it
If you want stability and speed, battery that goes, camera, wifi,
goldfinger NexusMod3 and RaverX3X BlackEdition are rock solid... you can flash a modem that you like, just make sure to delete the system folder within the .zip.

I dont mind bugs, just some can pose a huge issue. Kinda wanna avoid having to Odin

Been using ICS perfection for a few weeks now. Haven't noticed any bugs at all besides face unlock not working right, but honestly I've used it on my tablet, it doesn't recognize me half the time and just kinda annoys me in the end. So yeah, ICS perfection makes a wonderful daily driver, just use a Bluetooth headset otherwise the person on the other end will hear themselves echo like crazy
I've tested all, and nexusmod is by far the best one. Android stock keyboard works flawlessly. Apps don't crash, wiimote connects with no issues, battery is pretty good. Feels and looks like aosp. Aosp lock screen...etc. nexusmod will be my rom till a working aosp rom comes out for our phone.

Try Alien ics rom from the skyrocket forums. Pure gold.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using xda premium
Question, what ics radio/modem do I need to install? I read the installation instructions but they never suggest when to flash it. And the skyrocket roms indicate att radios, not Tmobile. That part is what confuses the hell out of me ...

I agree with this 100%..I am on the newest version of nexusmod and it is by far the best ics port out there.for my Telus version S2.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
Yes nexusmod is really good and stable. Its the best ics rom I've used so far and I've tested all ics roms. Vibration works perfectly the only downside with most ucld2 leak is the fix permission and reboot shutdown issue, which isn't bad you can just download quick boot from market. Ics perfection was okay but it lacks vibration and notification light up. Sky ics is nit bad either. But I prefer nexusmod

Can someone help me on the issue of flashing a ics radio?

Hi peeps im new to the gs2 and my phone is over heating so im thinking its a software issue. So which rom is the most stable. Wanted to see if it will stop the over heating once i put a different rom

Cm9 rc2, darkside revolution, aokp ics

I found Darkside Venom to be very stable - no crashes in the few weeks I have been testing it.
Thanks ill try them out

TechNiqCality has run well for me after an initial try with Infamous. I find TechNiqCality to run better for my tastes. Less bloatware and I prefer the cosmetics better. Though I'm still running 1.2 until some issues get resolved with the newer releases.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
CM9 stable is a excellent rom with the Darkside venom 6 kernel. Never had overheating issues. Very reliable rom imo
 cheers

What is the difference? Since both are technically cm10, is there one you guys prefer over the other? I've been using cm10, last dew builds have been buggier, so I've been thinking of ashing jellybro.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
Try paranoid rom. Love the hybrid modes.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
Not a fan of hybrid to be honest. And from what I understand, that ROM is a bit behind other cm10 commits?
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
Jelly might be behind to sometimes. I don't trust the idea of cherry picking when the main developers still get bugs in the nightlies besides the nightlies will get better the more people that participate
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
cm10 is pretty solid to me, but im using jellybro cause of the cherry pick check out the site for the jellybro and see if you like the added features. if not see the changelog for cm10 for more details
I am looking for an overclockable kernel for touchwiz ics. Im sure many others would like this too. Is this a possibility? Thanks.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
I myself was wondering where the kernels were..
Is it a source issue. I havent really looked....nor felt a need though honestly. This phone works amazingly well out of the box
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
Yes this phone is already awesome. I just wanna break some records.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app

According to you.

only one for tw http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766484
I know this kernel works on SS Odexed Blue, probably works on all TW based ROMs

Not sure if LTE will work whilst on it (don't have coverage) but it's pretty nice

I have found paranoid kang droid to be very stable and has great customizations. I have used the latest touchwiz ota, wicked, cm10, and pa; and have settled on pk as my daily.

All ROMs are the best for those that use them
No one uses their phone like you or your GF
Try each for a couple of days and decide what is best for you or her
Thanks
