i want to know which one is better and why.
performance and battery wise.I installed miui v4 but video playback is not working with mx player.
and is their a difference between camera quality between these two?
Miui 3. 2 is cm7 based.. no bugs... 4 is based on ics.
The cam/camcoder may be buggy in v4.
Battery savings depends on your oc kernel... The more you oc the more battery it eats..
I exactly dont know but 3. 2 may have better battery life.

I flashed miui 3.2 but miui v4 is way better than miui 3.2.
I don't like the look of miui 3.2
V4 is new and based on new android v so it is more candy to eye
But GB is most stable without bugs....
I am waiting for cm7 release latest with fully working(usb tethering)...

MIUI 4 definitely. Better looks and ICS.

I think I prefer Virtuos Quattro ICS rom its the best so far
Is Quattro using the cm settings ? The latest build from lordmod is back to evervolv and I don't like it at all Hopefully this is the last build with it and the next will be with the fully functionning CM Settings !!

Yes, he's just waiting for CM Settings to be ready, so evervolv is temporary... cm settings is in another branch and the latest build is with evervolv. I think he's making a build with CM settings about now.

I'm happily set on QUATTRO, but maybe one day I'll try LC.

MIUI 4 ICS \o/
Right now, im am on Virtuous Quattro RC3. This works very good at daily use..!
Don't trust a beta rom which calls itself a release candidate.
I'm on virt now. Tried all of them but like the quatro settings.

+1 for Lord's IceColdSandwich. He released 1.2.0 today and I've been using it as a daily driver. He's real focused on the development activity and builds are being fired off every day. It takes some effort to keep up, but he's real responsive and fixing a lot of stuff. Camera is hit or miss for most folks, but I can deal with it.
lordmod
1. I like the widget buttons on the notification drawer
2. I can use UV tools with LorDmodUE kernel
I'm on Virtuous Quattro RC3, with Lord's latest kernel. 5 days now, so far so good. Between IceColdSandwich and Virtuous Quattro, I don't think either will disappoint you.
Hey everyone, i'm looking for the best rom for battery life! Can you help me?

Help yourself. This question has been asked and repeatedly been answered already. And no matter how many people would suggest this or that rom it always ends up with you and your personal experience.

Hi,
Try Mildwild 5.0 Rom with manu kernel. It works great for me.

It will most likely end up with JB anyway.

Like the others suggested it all kind of depends on how you use your phone. I used mine as mp3 player and about 1hour of browsing a day. Only occasional calls a texts, but I found the latest oxygen gingerbread rom with launcher pro plus to be great.

Any Sense ROM
I get 36 hours using it normally on any Sense ROM (2.1, 3.0 or 3.5)
etc. ncessuch
I have dont have the most experience but of the roms I have tried, I found MokeeOS to have the best battery life - about 36 hours with texts, facebook & email checking and maps use.
I have used the following ROMs
1. stock sense
2. MIUI-AU
3.MIUI-XJ
4. MIUI Mararge
5. MokeeOS
6. Jellybean pre-alfa
I like MokeeOS the best but really like some of Jelly Beans features even though not everything works

Hmmm, in general Sense ROMs are the most battery-draining of all, especially the 3 and 3.5 ones (just imagine that the stock Desire came with just a version of Sense 1.0).
Rule of thumb is that the more "stripped" the ROM, the better the battery life will be. Therefore any AOSP ROM will generate maximum battery life.
It depends, but you can try any of the miui ROMs, or if you prefer sense ROMs you can try aurora.
A AOSP like oxygen or CM based rom should be fine.
For CM based kernels use ManU HAVS BFS Kernel or CronMod Kernel. Both are great oh battery!
For oxygen use Thalamus kernel or mod8 (which is the same thing with Smartass cpu governor).

It's true that JB roms have more bugs, but they are also good for daily usage. I used CM10 for a couple of days and didn't notice any bug (except the camera preview thing), the biggest problem is that they are not as smooth as some ICS roms.
I think the best ICS roms are RobotoMOD and Speed Droid.
RobotoMOD seemed smoother, but neither Data2SD nor S2E was working, so I use Speed Droid.

I use MIUI v4 based on CM9 with CronMod INT2EXT4+ as the a2sd script. Works great! Just install the rom, then flash the int2ext4+ script afterwards (make sure your sd-ext partition is ext4 formatted). I use twrp recovery v. 2.2.2.0 and a class 10 sd card.
Or if you want the "stock" CM9:

Even stock ROM has bugs. Like low memory, low gaming and video support, lag while music playing, set gets hot while multitasking.........

just ginger DX v029
It depends what day it is. Seriously, I swap ROMs so often even I don't know for sure.
Enhanced 2.3.6 has been the best for stability etc but CM7 offers the next best stability with greater features - e.g. music controls on the lockscreen.
weekend : cm9
school days : enhaced 236
friday : sometimes cm7

I have it, too. :good:
As in the topic. Maybe MIUI 2.10.12? Maybe some other? Which do you recommend?
I've tried almost every non-sense rom, and my two favorite is RobotoMOD or MIUI v4 2.8.10, because they are the fastest/smoothest.
CM9, CM10, Paranoid Android 2.54, Speed Droid would be good too, they were working fine, but they were laggy compared to Robotomod or MIUI.
Robotomod could be better too, for example if Int2Ext4+ or anything else (beside Link2SD) would work.
@up
I used MIUI, and now I'm using CM9 and I don't see that MIUI stood out as fast.
I've used MIUI for a month straight and no lags except the known bugs. I am currently using cm9 because of hq videos.
Go for MIUI coz of the interface and the speed.

Miui for me
tbh i used all three and i LOVE THEM ALL, i would stay on miui but its out of date and the themes dont apply right sometimes. i just stick with cm9 for speed and stability and a uniform look. as far as lag try using some of the memory tweaks and v6 then change your launcher
