I just switch to the E4GT from the mesmerize (USCC GS1) and its an awesome phone. I just flashed blazer rom and its awesome! Keep an eye on shabby's ics work though, he's been working like crazy on it all day.

I hopped on board today from the 3d as well . This phone is soooo much better than the 3d. I was wondering if you can force roam . My 3d had the option roam only . Didn't know if it was because I was on a custom rom.

Got a black one. Found one on CL for $320 so I went ahead and picked it up. Honestly hadn't even thought about getting one. Was kind of a spur of the moment thing. Dadoc04 talked me into it.

haha i dont think youll regret it at all!
it may feel weird at first if you never owned a galaxy s device (plastic,cheap,ect)
but trust me they can take a beating... my launch E4GT got beat on pretty hard (a few drunken nights)
only thing i really miss about the 3d was the resolution... but meh with a Samoled + screen i can get over it

my signal strength is pretty good, wifi probably was a little better on my 3D, nothing major though...
super snazzi and really nice screen, i had the HTC Evo LTE which had a sick screen, this one is also awesome...
one of my first discoveries though is the worst collection of ringtones of all time, haha... no basic ring anywhere, im a business man, i can't have a dumb ass ring go off all day...

I recently departed with my mytouch4g. You'll feel like it's too big. Then you'll go back to the mytouch and it'll be muchhhh too small. It's a fantastic phone. Have fun.

Just made the switch to a new s3 and loving it. Wanted to say hi and thanks in advance(will be hitting the button often)to the dev community here.
Started reading s3 forums about 2 weeks before I got my device and am amazed at all the stuff going on in this forum. The sgs4g was a great phone and i plan on playing around with it still, but only a small development group there.
So far: rooted, twrp, darthstalkerx, motomoto theme. Smooth, sexy and no issues at all.
Looking forward to a host of new flashing fun! Keep it up!

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the s3 got released like a month here in the states on most U.S. Carriers after the international release . I know with the s2 the U.S. market got it pretty late. But if that's the case the state release shouldn't be that far from us when the s4 drops.
