I am new to rooting and android in general, I had previously rooted with the no-trip method in the dev section, and used OTA RootKeeper to install the AT&T update as was instructed on a different thread because the update manager was constantly running and I was seeing a pretty big battery hit, after the OTA I am still rooted, and I have tried installing CWM recovery using both ROM manager from Play Store and the guide listed here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1737446, but every time I try to boot into recovery I still get the stock 3e recovery. Is there something I'm doing wrong or something special I should be doing since I have installed the update? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi guys, so I don't know how to proceed with this update... I'm a VM user and my One V has it's bootloader unlocked, is running TWRP2 recovery, and has a rooted stock rom... I tried installing the update but my phone just reboots into recovery.
You need stock recovery to do it.

Similar problem - the phone reboots into recovery (which is ok because I need to install the new update), but as I select the OTA update to install,
I get an error message. Is it just because OTA does not work with these custom ROMs?
Stuck here. Can anyone help?

OTA needs untouched stock ROM and stock recovery.

Hey guys, I was the person that accidentally formatted my HTC one and eventually flashed a stock rooted rom of 4.2.2, but now with a new update for 4.3 I am unable to update because TWRP recovery says the update is untrusted and aborts the operation, has anyone else had that problem/come up with a solution?
Flash the stock recovery, the OTA will not install with a custom recovery like TWRP or CWM.
