Strange thing is that I had a working version previously on Omega 12 ICS ROM, but right now after udate to Omega 21 JB it don't work anymore.
I had the same issue with this game not working on some of the jb leaks. It resolved itself a few leaks later. Make sure you're on the latest, in Omega its already the official Sammy release dlib.

I assume many people like myself are having problems with their Google maps since the 6.0 update, so here goes the most stable version with faster GPS locks and no force closes or memory problems.

hey,i have samsung ace but my problem is that the ownhere maps i installed says "serachin for gps" all the time...do you have any solution to that???
5.11 version is also very fast after extensive testing so you can use that also. I think version 6 is meant for more powerful phones
works well on ddkq6 rooted.
dont know about speed because could not compare it with any other version.
Am already using 6.0 ownwhere and it's working great.. flashable zip is available

I have downloaded Jelly Bean 4 for HTC Incredible to test it out. I have noticed that some apps from the market will not download. One app is XDA. When it downloads then tries to install it says "couldn't install on usb storage or sd card". Any help would be great. I would ask the developer but xda will not allow me to post on the thread which sucks too.
It's an alpha version. Expect a lot of stuff to not work yet. You are better off waiting for them to develop it further.

What I did was go into the system settings and then storage, unmount your SD card and then install XDA. After installation go back in and remount the SD card. It worked for me. I am assuming it will work for any other apps you are not able to install
Unmounting the SD worked for me. Thank you.

One thing I noticed is that I am having problems downloading ROMs from XDA using Chrome or the stock browser. I am going to download and install Alpha 5 and GAPPS and see how they work. More to come. I am trying to post as much as possible to be able to post in other test spots too.
Any idea what's different in Alpha 5? No changelog was posted.

Hey Albinoman, I just flashed alpha 4 yesterday and alpha 5 this afternoon, great work! I appreciate all the hard work and would love to help out with development anyway possible.
I did just notice that 'System settings -> About phone -> Mod version' is still listed as Alpha-4. I just wanted to check that I actually did flash Alpha 5 and it just didn't get the version updated. I double checked the zip files and made sure I flashed the right one (did it a second time to be sure), wiped data/cache, etc, but it still shows Alpha-4. Is this correct?
Thanks again, I will be following your ROM closely

Alpha 5 is working great for me so far. Still having some issues downloading apps but I am working through them one at a time. The email app works but when looking at emails it looks off like the stock browser? Is that due to the hwa issue?

Update: The ROM is working great for me. I have not tried bluetooth yet but shall. I am now running ALPHA 5, V6 Supercharged with APEX launcher. Just waiting for the HWA, Camera, and video fixes. :fingers-crossed: More tests to come.
Watching that ROM very closely.
I desperately need my email for work, so I had to downgrade to ICS for now; but I was loving Google Now and the progress made, and with using Chrome, I felt I could get along nicely. I look forward to testing out Alpha 5 this weekend (If its not 6 by then ). Also looking forward to seeing what PureMotive's is like. Exciting stuff!
Very handy work, Albinoman.

I flashed a custom ROM (Jelly Bean) on my Samsung, but whenever I try using Skype I only get as far as 2 rings and then a dropped called labeled "Call Failed". The last time I used Skype on my mobile was when I had ICS installed. So, my question is, is anyone else having the same issue as me? Does anyone know if it's ICS to JB issue? Thanks!
Skype works for me and I'm on a JB rom. (PACman).
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using xda premium
Then I guess it might be due to the custom ROM. I uninstalled Skype and cleared cache, fixed permissions and re-installed afterwards. But I get the same results. Thanks for the feedback.
Try the tweaked version and see if it makes a difference.

Im currently running macksROM 4.0 progression L900VPALJC, 3.0.36-persius-alpha29 (kernal) on my sprint SPH-L900.
I just received my shinny new toy the Samsung All Share cast wireless hub. , My plans are to run my phone on my tv via said new toy. Problem is that they are not recognizing each other. Since this is my first rom I have ever flashed, need a little advice on how to proceed.
I am thinking that because of the rom that I have this is the problem they are not syncing. Any search for team veritas or macks rom I get from this site, the links are to threads that are gone.
1. Should I remove the rom and go back to factory data reset. (I really like this rom and want a solution to keep it)
2. Anyone have a link to macksrom 4.0 support?
3. Is there another rom proven to work fine with the All Share Cast?
I could be wrong, but I believe only stock rom supports it atm.
