When you unsuccessfully tried To unlocked bl at that moment you lost your connectivity bcoz your phone was not meant to be unlocked for free. Alejandrissimo is right you'll have to pay. No other way

Bty which testpoint method you used to unlock there is a free one and a paid one? If you used paid one(i don't think so) then you should be fine with signal. And cheapest way of unlock is provided by alejandrissimo unless you have setool' box'.

And also it could be all free unlocking bl or repairing hard brick or sim unlock ( not sure) if 'laser' who made setool had provided it for free like we have flashtool. But he wanted his credit for developing it as it supports wide range of phones almost all. As it is said if you are good at something NEVER do it for free!!!

i read another thread about r800x bootloader being cracked http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1197890
but want sure if its a 100% success
is there anyway to unlock r800i bootloader? or another method of overclocking cpu?

You can unlock your bootloader, but you have to pay
thankx for reply
2 questions
how much?
how to?
There is no need to pay. Simply use this guide to unlock your bootloader for free.
I have an R800i and did it myself. Just make certain that you install Gordon's Gate drivers on your PC otherwise you'll be left with a phone you can not reflash afterwards.
what using Omnius for SE v0.23 ?

That only works for phones which are not sim locked (subsidized) by a carrier. For all those that do have sim locked phones, such as myself, you do indeed need to pay to get it unlocked by someone that has the tools to do so remotely. You can find someone in the General forum that can do it for you.

My phone was sim locked to UK orange, too. I paid alejandrisimo just under 20 quid and he enabled fastboot, unlocked the bootloader and removed sim lock in about 5 mins. All remotely. Thread was in the general section.

yes please post link ) and how much did you pay for unlock and how long did it take and did it also sim unlocked your phone
Links are below mate,
Fast GSM - http://www.fastgsm.com/en/sonyericsson/se/xperia-arc-s/unlock-network/flashing-debrand - Select the unlock via date cable for this one.
Omnius guide - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1754928&highlight=omnius
An equipment guide - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551494&highlight=omnius - (I didnt use this, just followed videos from fast gsm program)
Fortunately, I entered a competition on xperia blog and won a unlock code for fast gsm . But it only cost $15 dollars. (Bit over a tenner in the UK). Mine was locked to T-Mobile UK, but now it accepts any sim . It only took me about 10 mins to get all the equipment i needed and unlock it. It only takes about half a min for the program to run.
Fast GSM lets you watch a video and has a step by step guide on what you need to to at what time. (it loads in the program).
Can't speak for omnius as I never tried it, but there have been a lot of good reports on here.
Just as a warning, if you do this wrong, it could very well brick your phone, to the point that you cant recover it. Also, using these methods, you CAN NOT relock the bootloader. It is permanently patched.
If you need help, just post here or PM me. I'll do what I can
Btw, its late now so I might not reply until about 10 in the morning. Around 11 hours from now.
I just got an ion, after searching the net am i correct in.assuming it is not possible to unlock the bootloader on my rogers model? No point in keeping the phone if i cant flash roms on it!
Thx guys.

no, you can't unlock the bootloader (well that was what other people said when I asked, last year)
but there might be a new method to unlock it...if there is...then I NEED to do it
hi
just got an Xperia S noticed that its sim free but the bootloader unlock statue is not allowed on the service menu, any thoughts guys?
Bootloader and SIM unlock are two entirely different things. SIM unlock just allows the use of different carriers while bootloader unlock allows for changing system files otherwise locked from being accessed or changed and stops the use of fast boot.

I bought it used, I thought as long as it is sim free, it was bought contract free so it should be factory bootloader unlocked. How to enter fastboot mode anyway ?
If bootloader unlocked allowed = no it means you cant unlock it

If it was baught from a mobile carrier , most likely , it had been simlocked and the user either sim-unlocked by himself or from carrier... then it could be bootloader not unlockable... check by entering *#*#7378423#*#*.
im having the same issue... i will call the carrier to see if i can send to hell the warranty a little bit..
