Was getting way too long and out of control.

good to have a dedicated post here just for the official AOKP JB

This project confuses me a little with all the different versions/builds lol
So is it ok to talk about this AOKP Jelly Bean Nightlies version here too?

Ah okay.
Than it would be good to discuss here only the official AOKP JB Builds. Those from aokp.co
All the people who are using the Fitsnugly Builds can post in the Thread for the Fitsnugly Builds.
It is that simple and no one will be confused anymore.

That's exactly what I hope this thread is. It gets too confusing with all of the different AOKP ROM's being talked about in one thread. Especially when they have their own threads outside of it.

Well, lets continue here.

Finally a new thread with an updated op!
Was getting very tired of the old thread with tons of repetitions and negative attitude, this can only get better. I've been running the aoko/franco combo for a long time and it is just butter smooth!
And please don't ask what kernel is the best, if you don't like the included do your research to find another kernel that fits your needs
Edit: I get a 404 on the faq link in op

I don't think the confusion will be changed as long as different build from different official dev come out every day....

As long as people don't mix in unofficial builds like euroskank's it should be allright, but the main focus should still be on the official builds that are released on aokp.co.

Do we have lockscreen targets now?
I know the change log doesn't mention it, I'm just being hopeful.
That's all I'm waiting for to leave all unofficials and come to the proper AOKP.

Anyone else having issues with bluetooth? It only seems to work on play music but netflix, listen etc dont play audio via bluetooth. Had this issue on build 2, just flashed build 3 and same issue. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Finally on xda! Lol. Now I can comment about how nice this beast is. Can't wait to see as this progresses! I love the functionality and stability. Been running this since build 12 and it is my absolute favorite. Very solid stuff, i wont run anything else. Although I would really like to see an option for on screen buttons that disables the hard keys and doesn't mess the resolution or take up a lot of screen.. That, would be awesome. Just sayin thanks for all the great work Roman, I would thanks on rootz but I can't register.. :/

[ROM] [4.1.1] OFFICIAL codefireX Jellybean Nightlies

These are official codefireX JellyBean Nightlies brought to you by Synergy(e) and TeamCodefire. These use official CM device repos and are built from source nightly. THIS MEANS IT HAS ANY BUGS THE CM10 NIGHTLIES HAVE.
codefireX is a CM10 spinoff with the goal of providing additional power-user features (contained in the codefireX settings panel) while still maintaining full upstream CM compatibility for automated CM merges daily for the nightlies. This means the nightlies are fully up to date with the CM10 nightlies, however you get additional features as well! The codefireX settings panel will become more populated with features as this project progresses, and more device nightlies will also be added.
The codefireX github is HERE. Changelogs are not available, however you may use github (always current). The maintainer for this will not respond to questions on this thread, so please help your fellow android user out or visit twitter/IRC

It's probably just because it is trying to load a lot of pictures at once.
Well for whatever reason it's working now. And the ROM is great! Only extra option I really use is the centered clock but it was just one of those tiny details that was bugging me. And great that it keeps the cm10 simplicity without over saturating the user with too many menus (I find aokp to be a bit messy).

The Euroskank builds have the center clock option if thats all you want. They are 100% CM with cherry picked commits from CMs gerrit.

This. Playing around with it, he hasn't done as much with it as he did on ICS (yet, anyway). The reboot menu is there and he added AVRCP 1.3. The status bar toggles, over clocking, etc. from ICS are not included thus far.
One thing I really wanted was the "mark all read" button in the e-mail app like he had in ICS.
Amazing thanks!

This is both unofficial and official. It's unofficial for the reasons you posted above. However, it's official in the sense that Pete asked for devs for the other devices to compile the ROM for the respective communities since he doesn't have the devices nor the time to do it himself. In other words, don't expect Pete himself to compile BB for Toroplus.
Those of you that may have been waiting for the wingray version will be disappointed. The system image is too large for the device. I will see if there might be some tweaks I can do easily to fix this but for now, this version is on hold indefinitely.

What is King Kang?
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. Without these teams, this ROM would not be possible.
This is a merge of AOKP, CM10, and Paranoid Android done by DAGr8. Thanks to him
This is an UNOFFICIAL ROM. If kittens start to raid your house in mass, then I am not responsible (also, take a picture and post it on Reddit for archival purposes)
Thanks to:
- DAGr8
- Team KANG
- Team Douche
- Rohan32
- Paranoid Android Team

Flash normal jb gapps of your choice. These are recommended: http://d-h.st/1C0 4.2 gapps by KillDroidHack.
Please report any bugs to this thread, and I'll see if I can fix them, I threw this together for fun, and didn't do that much testing.
I also became really lazy and kanged Team KANG's boot animation.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Due to the request of the Paranoid Android team, I have removed ParanoidPreferences.apk.

No changelog, because I can't find one. I'll try to do nightlies. I'm syncing right now.
Also, keep in mind that I only have ~85 Mbps internet and a 3570K, so it might take a while to compile for all devices (I'm going to start supporting maguro and toroplus), but toro will always come first.

Yeah I just noticed that too . If Talk worked this would be the perfect ROM for me.

If this works. You're awesome. BTW, ROM updated.
EDIT: It worked. Now I have to edit all 6 threads .
Can someone upload a fixed camera app or is it fixed in the latest build?

AOKP without the Attitude. :good:
I noticed the build was for a jfltetmo, will this work on AT&t devices?
Just curious
Is this pre-loki'd so that it can just be installed & used on the AT&T i337?

What is this? Every time you come up, you got no knife, you got no jacket, you got no pants, you got no boots. All you got is that stupid gun you carry around like John Wayne. See this? This is this. This ain't something else. This is this. From now on, you're on your own.

Ahhh... You guys are cute.
I tried to flash this and got a Status 7 Error - I am on ATT using OUDHS recovery with Auto Loki.
When this happens I have to open the Updater-Script File and delete the line that says "Get Assert Prop....up to the first Semi-colin
I am not a developer and don't know much technical stuff - I read a lot and that is how I figured out the fix - but I was surprised I had to do this from a ROM posted in an ATT Forum - this is a TMOBILE ROM - which has not been ported to ATT yet. I am sure a lot of people can figure this if they need to - but I bet quite a few could not.
Any chance you can do this for an update sometime soon? I know it will make it easier for others to flash this in the future.
Whatever you decide, I am grateful you posted this here - can't wait to try it out...-

Idk why I get such better battery life on this build than tasks.
I guess this the product of being told by an egotistical dev "if you don't like it make your own" too much lmfaooo

Because placebo kicks in? Did I hurt your feelings at some point or something? That's your reasoning behind your ridiculous statements here? Please stop posting these types of things in reference to me. It's pretty childish. This isn't middle school. It's XDA. Thanks.
