Handtec UK has excellent customer service and they ship overnight. Back in may I had preordered the galaxy s 3 pebble blue but it was delayed, and since I was tired of waiting and needed a smartphibe really bad, I chatted with them let say on a Wednesday morning to tell them to change my order from the S3 to the one x , Thursday afternoon I had the phone in my hand and I live in the US. Excellent service and I highly recommend them.

and today they email me that they will not clear the order till I will get them code from card payment from my account
I have ring to my cardholder bank and they told me payment will accepted on my account for about two working days
toomorow I will try to send them this operation code from payment
I hope they will send me my ordered phones on 1th october

You'll be fine. Im in the US and I preordered from handtec, they also asked me for the authorisation code from the bank transaction, all you gotta. Do is provide it to them then you're good to go.

Nope - you don't pay the UK taxes if you're buying it for immediate export - in other words, if you're getting it shipped directly to somewhere outside the EU...
Also, there is, or will be, a Euro/Asian version of the XL with global LTE frequencies.

Looks like it's available for preorder unlocked at Mobicity, but it's pretty expensive. It would probably be cheaper to ask someone coming from overseas especially Asia to get it for you. That's how I got my Note 1, from Hong Kong.
But still no news from the carriers yet.

Actually, Kogan's website only mentions "Quad-band 3G" and nothing about 4G, so it prob won't support 4G network

Couldn't upgrade thru BB website last night.

On a whim yesterday, I stopped in a local Sprint store. Said they didn't know when it would be launched and wasn't expecting stock. About a mile away is another Sprint store. Stopped in there and they had 2.
Since I recently upgraded to the GS3, I wasn't able for upgrade pricing. They told me the stock was for upgrades only. After a few minutes of chatting, not only did they sell it to me, but they gave it to me for $570. :good:
Bestbuy.com has upgrade stock for 299 now.

Google said it will be available in the US starting Tuesday. Canada, UK, Australia and others will be available in the coming weeks. Noone really knows when. I am hoping before September. But I have no idea.

Agreed, but I am not surprised. I mean Chromebooks have only been available here in Canada for only a couple months. They were released back in 2009/2010. Also the white Nexus 4 was never offered on the Play Store here like it was in the US either.

They should do something about that, their biggest rival (apple) at least doesn't do that.
The android ecosystem is already very segmented that they should not add this on top of that.

From my understanding it was available early in the US through Amazon with next day shipping available as well. Other videos you watched were probably from larger tech review sites that were at the Google event and received a free device to review.

Yeah, the 30th was the release date. Though Best Buy and Walmart started selling them early, soon after the device appeared on Amazon and could be shipped with next day. Eventually I believe Google added it to the Play Store, and I can only assume they told everyone to just sell the things.
I got mine at Best Buy yesterday evening. They had 4 left when i got there.
If people wants abseloutely the device, b&h can offer the shipping to canada.

Yea it's because B&H are closed on saturdays and online ordering is closed as well. However it do reopens at 9:30 PM EDT, so you should be able to preorder it tonight (I got trapped me too as well XD)

Well I've already ordered a keyboard dock for the asus tf101 from them and never got an issue. Thing is, if you use purolator ground from them, you will already pay all taxes and brokerage so you should have no issue.
Here's their purolator ground explaination:
