Hallo community, i got a xperia arc LTi15, and today i installed Hybrid MooDeD JB-ICS 1.0.2 and Arcknight 3.5 kernel, i also overclocked my phone to 1.613 GHz and i wanted to benchmark it, after benchmark i got a high score compared to my old score from the stock rom and kernel, but i found out that other people with same xperia arc and with the proccessor overclocked to 1.5 Ghz or 1.4Ghz had way better scores than me, not in CPU but in graphics, (about double) do you know how i can improve this score too??
Thanks in advanced

Hello Guys, I was wondering how many ghz I can push my Xperia Arc without having to worry ..
1.6 is the maximum safe level?
And 1.7 is too much?
Thanks to all
DooMLoRD said 1.4 up to 1.6 is safe.
But undervolt it to 1250mV or less, otherwise it runs at a higher voltage than stock which isn't good.
But I can't feel a difference between 1.4 and 1.6, so I use 1.4, just to be on the safe side

I have to undervolt just the 1.6 or also the others values?
All is better, you will get less battery drain.
Hi..
After some days wondering why Xperia Arc S is really slow on ICS.
Currently I'm using xperia ultimate hd 3. Before this, I'm using beautiful ICS 4.
I compared Quadrant benchmark on Arc S with LG L7 (1ghz cpu).
On thing that sucks : I/O speed
Arc S only gives 940 score on I/O, while Lg L7 gives 5100.
Total score for Arc S is only 1540 (custom ROM), while L7 = 2100 (on stock ICS ROM!)
Any tweaks for the I/O? Do I need to unlock my bootloader and install custom kernel and does it give significant performance?
Or it's better to use GB?
In the page of jader's UHD he show his arc s's bench mark as 6205:laugh:
i can't even score this is Gingerbread with overclocked settings
is there was any possible way to achieve that score in arc s using UHD???
Yes there is
Wid kernel,tweaks and ram
He could have greenified all background apps
Some libs give better benchmark but less performance
There are many ways to increase benchmark

Don't be too disappointed with the benchmark score. It's not an accurate method to gauge phone performance. Two Arcs running the same ROM will have different benchmark scores because of the different apps installed and the different settings used. The ROM is good enough as long as it runs smoothly and is stable enough for daily use. No need to compare benchmark scores and see whose phone is the best. I got a user with a phone that got a low benchmark score but it runs smoothly.

My Quadrant Score on my Nexus 7 (LTE) is compared to my HTC One very low. I'm getting 7360 points.
With my HTC One the Score is about 12900 with same CPU/GPU clock and Voltages.
CPU clock speed: 2,1 GHzGPU clock speed: 487 MHz
Has anyone an explanation why the score is so bad? (and yes I know, benchmarks do not say anything )
And is there any Kernel that gives better performance and faster InGame loading?
Currently I'm using the latest faux123 kernel in combination with PACman ROM which runs quite stable
Quadrant scores always sucks on stock Google roms, antutu is Better but not perfect.. ..
Other company's optimize their software to this stupid benchmarks , not google ..
But from what I saw AOKP gives a nice score with antutu - around 23500, bit quadrant is an old and not very good benchmark .
Okay my antutu score is 24217, I've done everything, what was possible with faux kernel and PACman ROM, a fully overclocked Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 with TouchWiz X-Note ROM is getting around 22000 and with an HTC One everything maxed out in the Kernel-settings i'll get incredible 29233 Points with ViperOne Sense ROM.
The Nexus 7 is a really great tablet and I know I could get more out of it, but I shouldn't measure the device with stupid benchmarks
i agree quadrants a bit crappy with stock get between 4-5k
while a stock aosp rom get 7-8k with a few tweaks
Is there any Kernel available for our device? That is compatible with 4.43 and 5.1.1 Stock or custom roms? Can someone make it? Hehe. Thanks.
Has features like:
- A very fast kernel that improves Ui smoothness and performance without overclocking Cpu and Gpu. Like other phones that has similar specs.
- CPU Overclock to 1.6 GHz.
- Adreno 305 Overclock to 500 MHz or higher that won't affect phones lifespan. (Galaxy Mega 6.3 has Gpu clock at 500 MHz so it's possible for our device.)
- An equal or better Battery Life.
Dear I'm on stock and there is no issues regarding speed or multitasking.
Hmm, well there is, MTK6582 has no fps drop in the ui. Smilarly Snapdragon 400 is better (based on people thoughts)When you update T2 to Lollipop there is an fps drop happening on the ui, specialy the Notification Drop down bar. Where I happened to test a local smartphone that has same 720p display and ram but has a very smooth fps. Whereareas in games both device are similar in performance. Its just weird that Ui lags in SD400 T2 Ultra while local phone has MTK6582 is smoother but in games are similar. Its just sad to not see smooth ui in T2 even on Kitkat.
