[Q] CM9 Problem - Galaxy S II Themes and Apps

I have just installed CM9 for my sgs2 and i have noticed that it hasnt installed a movie player? can i install the original android one? ive tried looking around the forum for it but cant find it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

That is a Samsung app and you are not using Samsung software so of course it will not be present in Cyanogenmod.
There is a wealth of decent video players on the Play Store.

I'm sure some Googlers have it already but it's unlikely they'll post in here

I'm pretty sure it's going to come with Google Play Music. If ever, your current Play Music app will be updated to the new or do a side load.

On an updated only-for-4.2 version maybe?
I highly doubt it. If for some reason Google wants to do that, I'm sure an apk file will pop up. At the very least we will here about it from some type of news source.

I'm I the only person who finds it fugly? I really don't like the blue. Needs to be updated to match the rest of the system.

The looks of it are neutral to me. I don't know whether I like it or not lol
The stock is Google Play Music. No separate music player. You can always download another from Google Play.
This is when you click on mp3 file in system.

nope. works perfectly, I just listened to it for an hour and a half in the subway. try clearing the app data for play music.
Sorry. I was not very specific about what kind of lag it was. I experienced lag in scrolling my album arts in play music app.

Galaxy s3 video player on gs2?

Okay guys I'm posting from the xda app and the search function is not great. Anyways I rooted my friends s2 and was wondering if there was a rom or apk that would allow his s2 to have the gs3 video player and features like the ability to play a video and open up another screen. Please any info would be greatly appreciated.

Jellybean ROMs and YouTube

So I've tested out a few jellybean ROMs and I've noticed that YouTube will not play videos on any of them. YouTube not working is never said to not work in the bug lists so I don't know what's going on. Is this a known issue ? Can anyone running a jelybean ROM confirm whether or not YouTube works on their phone?

The new YouTube update suddenly broke a few days ago on Jellybean ROMs. I uninstalled and loaded an earlier version and now YouTube plays fine. There is an excellent screen off playback version here on XDA.
