I haven't had a chance to ref lash yet but here's the issue flashed the leaked stock ROM on my nexus everything works good but when I reboot my phone it gets stuck on the Google splash screen requiring a battery pull to reboot.. what could be causing this issue?

Which nexus are you using? Make sure you are downloading the right files. Sprint gnex is the toroplus, Verzion is toro, and gsm is maguro. Also did you make sure to wipe all data and factory reset before you installed the zip.

When I flash to Aokp I get stuck in a loop on the boot screen. I saw a forum that said that the radio was in need of upgrading, however on upgrading nothing changed. So now I flashed back to stock and am running that with no problems at all (4.0.4). I tried with both Aokp builds 29 and 30, both of which created this result. I was coming from Galaxy nexus GSM yakjuux 4.0.1. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Not wiping data before flashing?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Premium HD app
Yes, I'm fairly certain that I have been wiping the cache before flashing, however I'll do it again and be sure to do so. I'd feel rather silly if it was as trivial as that. I'll let you know, thanks for the suggestion. EDIT: It wasn't that, I found a newer radio than the one I was using, flashed that, and everything is good. Strange. Thank you for your help though!
If you are switching ROM's from different sources i.e. from stock to a custom ROM, you have to wipe user data. The only time you can just wipe cache is when you are flashing an updated ROM from the same source. Sometimes that will cause problems too.
I was wondering if the radio could be the cause of this i upgraded to the fc04 /fc05 radios,i was under the impression that the framework was upgraded but not sure if i should flash back to the fa02 radios. I know stock radios have been a culprit in the past and was wondering if this still was the case . any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.Im on verizon lte by the way.
recovery, wipe cache/dalvik
if that doesnt do it:
recovery, format /system, reflash rom+gapps
if that still doesnt solve it
recovery, wipe data/factory reset, format /system, reflash rom+gapps
did you update radios with fastboot?
Yes to updating the radios, but I guess I'm wondering if the new radios are what are causing this I did a full wipe and actually a full restore. Right now I'm on the 5/10 will wait to get home to try new nightly in case I need the computer again.

The first three or four roms I ever flashed on my G-Nex got caught in the bootloop after flashing with ROM manager. Turned out I was missing the wipe cache/dalvik step, and the same zips have since all worked fine.
OK well I'm getting ready to flash the latest nightly I'll let y'all know if I boot loop again. Thanks.

I tried flashing that but couldn't get any data or cell service. I liked it though, except for the wifi only part
If you aren't getting WiFi or data you might want to flash radios.
Apparently I'm not allowed to post links until I reach 10 posts.
But you can find it by search in droidhive. It seems droidth3ory is highly revered.
I tapd that

I've run Vicious 4.1.0 V3, JellyBelly 3.5, and now XenonHD. All three have been fully functional for me with the exception of a few glitches with Xenon, but those are really minor (but i cant yet post in the development thread to point them out). JellyBelly and Xenon are both super fast, but to be fair, I havent tried the most up to date Vicious. I think you'll be happy with any of the three.
Make sure you do a factory reset, wipe the cache partition, and wipe the dalvik cache in recovery before flashing the rom and gapps. Then be sure to do advanced -> fix permissions in recovery.

Also, with JellyBelly, I had to flash the 4.0.4 baseband which helped tremendously with signal strength.
It's always at random. But I've been experiencing whenever I reboot my phone, it stays stuck on the Google logo screen for like 3 minutes, then finally changes over to the new Nexus animation after installing Vicious Toro V1.
I've done a clean install (wipe data/cache/dalvik, format data/cache/system). Twice. This issue still arises.
Any ideas? Thanks guys!

Have you tried a different kernel to see if the boot up speeds up?

Yeah I've switched to Franco's. Still not fixed :/

Does this occur on full stock?
I would suggest flashing a stock image just to make sure it isn't anything ROM related, if you haven't already.
It might be ROM related. Haven't heard anyone else having any issues with it though.
I'll just stick it out and wait for the AOKP 4.1.1 ROM.
Thanks anyways guys!

Hey guys.
I was running paranoid android 4.0.4 and t was good but I wanted to go to JB. I tried for a long time and it kept getting stuck at the bootloader loop screen.
I formatted sdcard, went back to stock. Back to square one. got TWRP and rooted it.
It tells me there is an update I can go from 4.0.4 to 4.1 and I allow it and it STILL gets stuck at the bootloader loop.
I tried to manually put in a ROM again, the black AOKP one and still stuck in the loop.
I haven't got a custom launcher or anything. pretty much running stock and wanted to get to JB...
my phone is maguro.
Anyone have any ideas?
anyone?!
Are you talking about an OTA Official update? If so you need stock recovery, bootloader and radio. You can't flash an OTA without these. If you really want to go down this route, you will need to flash factory images for your device and start from fresh.

Have you tried CM10? I have had great luck on Euroskank. I tried AOKP this morning and ended up stuck in a bootloop but Euroskank AOSP and AOKP have both been great. Also I use the 0726 gapps.

thanks! I will try these tomorrow!
Download the following: Superwipe zip, and Jelly Bean Bootloader zip
http://d-h.st/jcO Bootloader
http://www.mediafire.com/?lxpw84fwtm5cj6w Superwipe Script
Use clockworkmod and flash the superwipe choosing install zip from sd first the the same for the bootloader then flash your rom. Let it boot up which can take a couple minutes at the boot screen
What worked for me was the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit. It allows you to wipe the entire system and replace it with a factory image. The factory image for stock JB is available now, so it's as easy as a couple clicks. It's the only thing that worked for me completely, i.e., no sdcard0 bug.
NB: It wipes EVERYTHING!!!!! Backup anything important.
