Hi, guys
I've bought Archos 35 Home connect (gen8, A35HC, A35DM) to use as a table radio.
And now I am wondering What apps do you use for music streaming, especially for Last.Fm and pandora?
I use:
1. Di.Fm - works perfect
2. google music - works perfect
3. last.fm official - doesn't stream*
klastfm - doesn't start
alastfm - FC
coboltfm - FC
4. Pandora - doesn't stream*
* - I am outside US, so I have to find workaround for US only services.
Questions:
1. Does anybody know working last.fm unofficial client?
2. Has anybody found out how to stream Pandora from outside US?
Please, if you know something - don't hesitate, tell us
If you have any questions about apps and device - feel free to ask.
I use latest official archos firmware 2.4.83 rooted with chulri's root

I dream of an app that that could one of two - or both.
A) Be able to download a multimedia streams (like GetASFStream) where any multimedia URL will be downloaded. I could really use that to be able to download TV programs.
B) Be able to see/copy the URL of any multimedia streams (like URL SNOOPER 2), so I can bypass any FLASH VIEWER and just watch the stream in a player.
I am quite sure that none of this exists on WM (google), but any hints are welcome.
Recently I thought such an app was close... My dreams of something of a kind died with Fennec... I hoped that when Fennec was mature enough someone would release a modified version of the FlashGot plugin that passed urls to an external media player...
Don't know if such a thing being done by an Opera Mobile Widget is even feasable.
I dont know about Opera - think their widget thing has silently died ..
But I simply dont understand that this has no more attention on Windows Mobile with its known lack of Flash support - or streaming capability through the browsers...
I mean - could we rip the URL as on normal Windows OS, we would download tons of entertainment. Like my own national broadcast company - lots of programs that can be streamed, but either the connex is to slow or the browser wont show the file.
Just give me that URL so I can see the program when downloaded...
Bump...
I am up for a 50$ donation to make this work...
Might think more on essentials and poste here if any could take up the challenge..
BTW dont care if any makes a paid for app to be able to do this - just make it happen

Hi,
I just want to inform about an app that has been developed by xda members and has been reported as working properly on Galaxy S, and might be of your interest.
The aplication searchs in internet for tv shows video links that can be played directly on android, with an easy to use interface and fullscreen support.
There is a Lite (free) version with 12 preselected tv shows and a full (paid) version with 500+ tv shows.
The tv shows that can be watched on the lite version are :
Friends, The X-Files , Family Guy, Being Human, Monk, Lost, Heroes , Misfits, Prison Break , Breaking Bad, The Simpsons, South Park
You can read the full thread on this XDA forum link if you need more information.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=903351
I post it here because not all users go arround the forum , out of their device subforum.
If you find any bug or any suggestion, we are listening to improve, the aplication is still under development, the new feature "send liks to email to be watch on a computer" has just been added this week and we will have new features soon.
regards
Please, test fast forward and rewind in Frogmovz server, pause it before flash forward or rewind. Report if it work for Samsung galaxy S.
Thanks
It's one of my base apps on my phone, works like a charm. No lag, no buffer, smooth playback. Imagine this + Tv output
There are only 12 shows in the light version, but apperantly those are most of my favorite.
Lite shows:
- Friends
- X-files
- Family guy
- Being Human
- Monk
- Lost
- Heroes
- Misfits
- Prison break
- Breaking bad
- South park
- The simpsons

fast fwd, rewind, fullscreen, all working.
Tried on Heroes Frogmovz.
Hi,
Thanks for the reports.
We are working to make FF and RW working in karambavidz that is the only server that does not support it at the moment. It should be working soon. We are also considering direct download for files and the inclusion of movies.
Thanks for the continuous support from all XDA members.
Regards.
Movies would be a huge addition, I recommend moviewatch.in, there are loads of servers too choose from, say "putlocker" is one of the best.
I'd definetely buy the app(would even pay more) if you implement movies, I'm more of a movie watcher, than a show junkie.

Hi guys, My Play has ran out of internal memory. I only have half a dozen or so games on it Is there anyway of freeing up some space, files that can be deleted? I have a n app - app2sd which moves all I can to the sd card but still low on memory. It is a stock phone. Cheers for any info
Go to settings, applications, manage applications -----> all and then click menu button and sort by size. This will allow you to see which applications consume most memory. It'd be useful if you posted them here and stated how much memory they take. You can also move some apps 2sd from there. It might be an abundance of gameloft games though in which case, I cant really help you.
You could also take pictures of the biggest memory consuming apps instead. I'm also not rooted but have over 50mb free with over 8 pages of apps (including bloatware)

If your phone is not yet rooted, then you should. You can free up internal memory by removing bloatware.

Also, if you root you can move any app to your sdcard
Sent from my R800i using XDA
Aye root and then using link2sd is essential for the play.

Ok, there seems to be a lot more than I thought lol. Being a newbie I am unable to post up pics Is there anyway to delete the pre-installed games that came with the phone? How easy is it to root, is there a noobs guide to do it on here? Here is a list of what I have on.

Check that post.
Use the zergrush method. Just download the latest version and open the runme.bat. All instructions are in that file. All you need to do is allow unknown sources and turn ojn USB debugging (included instructions in runme.bat) and press any button, then sit back and wait 30 seconds or so
Easy
Once rooted, there are apps such as titanium backup that make deleting system apps easy, be sure to backup first.

Just wondering can we put together a list of apps, and bloatware. That can safely be removed after your device is rooted.

I don't know all app's but after I flashed the last time I made a full backup of all app's using titanium backup.
Then I uninstalled everything I don't need with titanium.
Almost all Google apps and all s-app's.
I believe there are still a lot of background app's left with are now unneeded.
I believe I've seen somewhere in the dev.section a clean Rom.
Sorry for my bad English
Look at my rom.. X-Note zero edition (post n. 2) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43118095
Removed almost all bloatware and s note is in a separate zip file…
You can look into the rom zip and remove what you do not need in your device… or you can flash my rom
