Your girlfriends finger nails? Worked perfectly with mine
Otherwise, you can try a credit card or such.

Best thing what you can so is use scratchpaper with lowest grain. Whatever you put on aluminium, sooner or later will just "fly away".

Go to G2 accessories forum and look at battery polish thread.
G2 Mimicry 1.5.0 Best ROM ever
Polished mine with Polishing Machine. Looks like a Mirror now O.O
Maybe you can use nail polish remover because the main ingredient is actone (a diluent)?
EDIT: I tested nail polisch remover a few minutes ago: it isn't working. Credit card is definitely working!
Any rubbing compound will work. fine grit sandpaper is faster but rubbing compound will eventually be needed. ps it's usually labeled metal polish just about any will work but aluminum would be best. Hell even toothpaste will work. Or a paste of baking soda and water.

Overall. Quality of this product is superb and installation was so easy.
Did it all in about 15 mins + finishing it off with a hair dryer on low heat and 6" away from phone while off to cure the phantom skinz.

They are kinda small. Gotta stretch it a bit when you put it on, and then use hair dryer to make it even better. There is a video instruction on the website. Just followed every step and turned out great.
This is pure sex in my eyes!!!!

The camera I took the pic with is kind of crappy as it isn't as detailed. Pictures don't do the justice. Looks way better in person.
It is also texturized. Not just an image print.
That looks very sweet! May have to look into getting something like this for my cappy! Nice work on the install
if you are in the carbon fiber mood, there is a site that specializes in the 3M film (now in 7 colors!)

I had this same skin for a while.
It actually adds some grip to the otherwise slippery Captivate.
Also gives a small amount of protection.
Initially it is a lint magnet until the adhesive at the edges wears out. But then it looks really good.
For me it only had two downsides:
1. Eventually, it started to lift at a couple of spots.
2. Can't be transferred to another device (like a case can) if you need to replace your phone for some reason.
How are guys cleaning the one x?
Mine already have some black marks on the back, I've been using my fingers and wet tissues.

Thats probably the only way.....I'm sure you could get a wet cloth or napkin and wipe it.
Saliva with fingers probably works too
Will the printed text on the back erase if we use wet tissues to clean the one x back in the long run .
No offense intended, but I think I made the right decision to get the dark grey version.
Were you successful on removing the marks on your white One X?

I've been avoiding wiping the label just in case it does fade.
Marks are pretty easy to clean, but its even easier to get the marks back on. Fingers with even a little bit of dirt will make visible marks. I can just see my phone turning yellow in a years time.
Definitely recommend a case. Mine still haven't arrived yet.
yea I took out a white one out of box to check it out before I delivered it to its buyer, but man in 5 minutes the thing collected every conceivable dirt and speckle, the back doesn't smudge however unlike the grey
I use a mild detergent or diluted dishwashing liquid, some cotton balls and a bowl of water.
works well.
Edit:
Got the idea from this at the launch.

On the back of the phone, towards the bottom of the back there are these marks/scratches that are popping up.
As you move your finger over them, you can feel the texture changes.
Why would these appear if I baby my phone, and have had a case on it from day 1.
It isn't making sense.
I tried to see if I could remove it with a cleaner, but no avail.
What are your thoughts?

I have seen these. Even with a case, you get dust(dirt particles) under the case. As you use the phone normally it does move a small amount in the case and that will scratch the back a little. At least this is what I think is happening as its happened with every phone Ive owned thats been cased.
Yes mine has it..... No case... But my last phone (xperia arc) went through more abuse and has no scratches. I don't have a clue what it is about that general area.

Got these as well. Exact same location. I guess the plastic backing finish is real easy to scratch up. Sucks but at least it is minimal.
I got them too, but at least I can just buy a new back or something.
I have tons of scratches on the back of mine. I set it in the cup holder when I listen to Pandora in the car. Recently these red marks have shown up... they won't rub off and I'm thinking its the color underneath the paint.

You don't have to take the clear protectors off the camera and flash but I like to. Plus I thought maybe it was causing a glare even though it has a hole.
It's not easy getting off especially the flash one. I did it carefully because I didn't want to scratch them. Samsung should have put tabs on them so it would be easy to take off.

I used my index finger nail not much of one and just moved up from the button of the flash. Just a little at a time. Once you see it move or come up some then you can use your index finger and thumb to peel it off. Maybe a girls longer nails would work better. Hehe. Just be careful and go slow. Oh boy that sounds bad. LoL
You could have a rep at your carrier try to get it off. Then if they mess it up you can blame them. I would think as long as you don't take a screw driver you should be ok. LoL

Use scotch tape. Cut a small piece and carefully stick it onto the film edge avoiding the cut outs for the lens and flash, then pull up slowly to lift off the film. You can get the whole film off or at the very least a small portion enough to take out the entire film.
i got it off finally lol i had to keep picking at it, eventually got my fingernail under there
Hey guys check this bulk crap out. I got my girl the blue nexus 5x and after using it less then 2 weeks all of the edges and around the camera are pink from the inside of her red purse.... See the pics. Going to probably grab a replacement from google... Should not be doing that.

Wouldn't that just be the purse bleeding it's color onto the phone? Did the purse ever get moisture on/in it? I would expect any kind of plastic light in color and matte finished like the 5X back would do the same thing? Idk just an educated guess

Won't that ruin the plastic and its color?
Use it softly with very light pressure. Take it slow. Sure I guess it could, along with anything you rub on it
I would RMA the purse instead
Just put it in a different color purse?
Its matte plastic, its going to hold on to somethings. I had a flake of something red get in between the case and the phone and it left a stain on the phone. But then I just rocked the phone out of the case for a day or two and it wore off.
Hey thanks for the replies... I know that these things can happen over time but this is under 2 weeks of use!
This is on my girls phone. No moisture inside the bag at all...just spent a few day in there.
I'm going to try the magic eraser out and see how that works. I have used them in the past and they d work well for this type of thing.
