I had utilized this guide to root my Vision. It provides clear, concise instructions with attached links for the software(s) necessary. Simple, swift yet efficient:

I reccomend you to read here first: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/HTC_Vision
There are plenty of useful information.

does anyone know when revoked 3 will be released for download again ?
it appears to be the only rooting app for 2.2 FroYo.
Unrevoked for the Desire is alive and kicking on its previous 3.2 version
Here
the latest 3.2 isnt downloadable, only the older client is downloadable, but that one doesnt seem to work on the latest froyo client.
ment to add that on 2 or 3 other sites people have said that they have resolved the issues, but no new release date has been issued, so i was hoping one of the devs may have a sneaky bit of inside info
No need for any sneaky info!
The beta/RC is available on their IRC channel, details of which you can find here.
When you log into IRC, you will find the link to the release candidate at the top - Please don't ask for the link to be posted here, as the team have said:
If you were linked here from anywhere but the #unrevokedtest IRC channel on freenode where we're testing this, please slap the linker around with a large trout and tell them to point people at IRC instead.

I know your new but its pretty obvious what and how to root this.

Please refrain from Q/A's in the dev section in the future. It helps keep things clean. If you need anymore information after reading that you can PM me.
Good Luck

Android 2.2
Build 1.22.531.8
If you need help with rooting, pop over to the irc channel. #G2ROOT on Freenode.
It'll be a lot easier and faster than here, as we gotta ask a few questions and see what you've done so far.

Hi all.
I would like to provide you all with a heads up that I have begun to make use of the HTC One X Wiki.
Please don't add things to it without referring to the #htc-one-x channel on freenode first, just so that we can ensure we're all reading from the same page!
It currently has information on how to root, and also information on disaster recovery.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/HTC_One_X
Any suggestions etc. either edit directly (after discussing with other maintainers on #htc-one-x) or post here.
Cheers all.
