CRT off-on animation on the one x?

Hey guys i hope u all are familiar with the CRT off-on animation available to android phones.I was hoping to get it for my one x.Has this already been done or if not can anybody port it for the one x .Dont u guys think its cool to have it in our phone?
Even my old galaxy s had that mod! :angel:

Right now its impossible as said on other threads.
We all want that imho
on xda for android and mistyping like a boss

i wish we get that mod too!
And hopefully soon before i sell this off for the next model from HTC lmao!

It can be done but with using old libraries, which have the animation in however this causes all manner of graphics corruptions so it's not a good trade off for having the effect. It's best just to reside this to history.

to be honest i dont see how it couldnt be done

any news about enable this mod?

You can get it with an app called "screen off and lock".

i'd like the tweak way ... i want it in my custom ROM based on stock without using such apps

yeah mate.. i like it very much, too!
just yesterday I hat iceCold Jelly 4.2.1. and in this rom, a very nice CRT animation is included.. i think it would be possible, to port that as mod..
pls dev's, make it happen!

however, i am not a fan of AOSP roms, i like sense much more.. also i am in love with my renovated ONE x..
so, is it impossible to port this animation as a mod ??

Download and install ''screen off and lock'' app for free.
You have several effects apart CRT

Tested already.. But no way to bind thew Animation to the Hardware Button on Top of device

guys i can almost 100% guarantee you that any ics rom launcher ports will not work on jellybean, unless you actually recreate it,

It's too bad that Energy ROM and VillianROM has not activity in development section. As far as I heard LeeDroid will come back but not sure how long. Maybe we can persuade them to come back? I know we have enough ROM developers but it would be always nice to choose from different ROM especially for lot of Flashoholics like me

Gotta be the HD2, that phone refuses to die (and it's awesome)

Z3freak is also good :thumbup: I know him from doing very good work in Desire Z forums, he was (and he still is) one of the best devs I ever meet here.

The greatest dev & my favorite was already here thus I bought one x..he is trip..frm my xperia x10 days..

can somebody get a full dump for it? some apps like camera, calculator, phone etc. works but iida home doesnt work. it's based on sense so i think we can port it.

Its not Htc. A phone company named KDDI made a cooperation with HTC and they used sense. And its really nice. If you need lib files I can get it from EVO section.

this is NOT the new htc ui. this is a carrier-specific ui from a japanese provider. the new htc ui (sense 5) will be the ui auf the m7 (if it will be called like that)

Still, if people like it, someone can try to port it to older HTC devices.

Its hideous why would you even want that on such a beautiful device, when you have all these different roms in the original- android dev sections ?

If I could do it myself, I'd have it done already. And someone taught me that you should never settle enough
